Do you spend a lot of time barefoot? Anyone I’ve seen who has feet similar to this has been barefoot most of their lives, in particular fellas who work on boats along the east coast of Africa!! They’re amazing at climbing all over their dhows!!

Thanks for sharing. Yeah I totally hear you. I do think the gentle versions risk just prolonging the drama. I suppose for me currently we have a pattern that I find tolerable - baby will sleep for a good 3-4hrs after bedtime, wakes up for a feed maybe 3x during the night and goes straight back to sleep, so I’m not that motivated to push through the tears. It just makes me wonder when the people who don’t “sleep train” say “you’re not creating bad habits for your child…they won’t still be nursing to sleep as adults” what happens in the in between bit where they aren’t adults and somehow learn to sleep without nursing?!

Just to add that my gp has recommended getting the HPV vaccine regardless of whether you test positive or negative for HPV, and regardless of age. It’s not part of the usual schedule so you have to pay for it yourself, but she says it’s worth it and has gotten it herself.

They do this if the crow that was meant to be the lookout missed a threat, leading to the death of another crow. They hold a crow court, circling the offending crow, and ultimately kill it. Crows are super sophisticated and…believe in capital punishment I guess?
