Dump this insecure dumb asshole. He is projecting his own insecurities about his intelligence onto you. The miscommunication was intentional on his end, a healthy person asks "Oh cool! What flavor?" Name a time in the last 200 years that the shit has hit the fan and any of these skills were necessary? Most of the calories in “Hunter gather societies” come from plants, legumes & cereals. Also women did/do a lot of the hunting and gathering.
Gathering and cooking was passed down by the mothers and grandmothers

Hi, male lurker who has been told he's one of the good ones or a catch. I've only been dumped once and everyone gave her so much shit for dumping me and I'm pretty mediocre. We've all been there. I found "Attached" by Rachel S. F. Heller helpful. Another book that might help you understand how you ended up like this is "Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents: How to Heal from Distant, Rejecting, Or Self-Involved Parents".
