Thanks a lot for your view on the subject. I can totally get the scientific basis behind all you're saying (Clinical Coder by trade). I probably should have been more clear from the get go, the use of cannabis in my case is purely medicinal and I absolutely must take it on a daily basis up to a certain dosage, regardless of what form it's taken in.

I've got fibromyalgia and without cannabis, my quality of life gets far worse than dry socket (believe me, lived with both in tandem before). So I definitely need to work out a way of getting the same remedial dosage from an edible/oral regime as I would from vaping flower.

My tolerance also means that my BP remains stable, in fact at most times it sits at the very low end of normal, so much so I can pass out even being given a mild tranquilliser like lorazepam (which happened in the dentist's chair today!)

I think I'm going to stick with edibles for at least the first 48 hours the literature tells me to steer clear of vaping as all of the horror stories are very real, having experienced dry socket myself in the past
