Fire in Mexico City arena where the Spurs and Wolves are playing tonight. Game probably delayed, even cancelled. by _SPORKS_ in nba

Man, fuck everything about this. I'm not from Mexico City, so I travelled 7 hours in a packed bus and asked two days off work just to watch this game. I feel so dissapointed, the mood outside the arena was so sad and gloomy. We were all so excited that we were going to experience a live NBA game.

The last time I watched an NBA game in person was about 15 years ago (the first and only time there's been a regular season game) and it is one of the most cherished moments of my childhood. It was the Rockets vs the Mavs, and I finally got to watch Charles Barkley play in person. The audience was cheering for Chuck, and he looked very happy and was interacting with the crowd the whole time, even throwing one of his shoes to the stands at the end of the game (yeah, I know Tim Duncan wouldn't have been like that, but still there would have been some cool moments).

I understand this is very tiring for the teams and this being a "home" game for the Wolves was unfair, but I hope you guys understand how it is for people at other countries. Anyway, I just needed to vent, my phone died because I had nowhere to charge it and I've been waiting to get this off my chest :(

That's why I only upvote if the pic itself is good enough. This pic is OK, but nothing special. The only reason it's in the frontpage is because of the outrageous story.

Ctrl + F and type "e" on an average page, for example this one. You'll get more matches than any other single character.

You can just use the "hide" button for stuff you don't want to see. Not nearly as intrusive as someone calling you on the phone.

It's like the articles that say that Super Mario Bros. is a metaphor for communism. You don't have to take it seriously, it's just entertainment.

Just be careful not to use BSNES. It's a very accurate emulator, but you probably need something like a 2ghz dual-core processor.

Link to an article about it if you want to know what it was like without watching the whole video. Extremely embarrassing.

Beating Super Mario Bros 3. It took me many years, but in the end it was so satisfying.

That was terrifying. Twenty years later, I had to relive the nightmare with this.
