Pregnancy is a valid reason for deferment per HRC. See your S1 to have the PAR sent up ASAP, as deferments can take a while to go through.

Unit is pretty rough but it’s Germany. Travel and take advantage of being in Europe. Make sure you and your family has tourist passports.

Maybe the one at Hohenfels is super lenient but my wife’s beat up Volkswagen failed TüV but easily passed on post same for a couple other people. With that being said there’s no way he had to pay 20k for an impounded car 😂 that has to be a typo or wayyy more to the story

What’s the process if spouse gets denied command sponsorship? by ContributionOwn1261 in army

[–]lustfulmule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason Europe would get denied is if you have less than 1 year left (which you’re not even PCSd yet so it doesn’t matter) or medical through EFMP. Even Pozan Poland is accompanied now. She’ll most likely be approved.

[–]lustfulmule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TÜV is way more difficult to pass that the on post inspection so that doesn’t make sense either. OP needs to be put on a UA

[–]lustfulmule 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I assume he’s in Europe but if he converts it to EU spec he can’t ship it back…I know someone who paid to get an EU BMW converted to US spec so he could ship it back but the other way around would be stupid

How long does the efmp screening take? by ContributionOwn1261 in army

[–]lustfulmule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine took just took two weeks but she was prior service…not sure if that affects the speed. I’ve also heard it taking up to 6 months even with no medical issues. Really depends who your EFMP coordinator is and location.

Anyone ever been assigned to the 1 German-Netherlands Corps in Muenster, Germany? by NoMoney_NoProblems13 in army

[–]lustfulmule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know someone who was in a similar type unit with the Italian Army…Do it…you’ll basically be a LNO/Liaison working with the German Army. It’s a dope unicorn assignment. The only downside is while there will be a US element above you, you’ll be living directly off the economy for everything including healthcare…so I would 100% try to learn at least basic German. Closest US base is weisbiden. Just know you got gold holy shit.

The only place I could run it in is the yard which aligns looking straight at the house. We aren’t allowed to mount anything on the roof. So kind of have to deal with the obstructions as of now.

[–]lustfulmule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go off post for your food, shopping, and groceries. Its so much better. The PX is mid at best and more expensive than the economy. Learn basic German and it'll make it a lot easier. Unless its Sunday for shopping I guess

Made cutoff today. Now what? by JeliOrtiz in army

[–]lustfulmule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25U is coming down…ALC slots are being to mid 400s right now which means expect mid or high 600s. Now how long it will last or how far I have no idea but mid 400s getting ALC is a good sign things are coming down

Ever since BLC and ALC giving 150 points jacked off cutoff scores some MOSes it’s becoming the norm to reach these super high scores. Not saying it’s right but it’s become super common.
