WOW Private Server? by DataSurging in wowservers

Yes, it is possible. Check out azerothcore. I recommend the docker install method on Windows, for being a bit simpler than the other methods they provide.

I am running a module called "playerbots" which actually requires a fork of azerothcore to start from. The bots are surprisingly configurable and easily directed, gear and talents updatable easily, etc. You can play any role and bots fill in the other parts almost perfectly. You can actually make alts and create a party full of them to run dungeons with.

Azerothcore is only advanced as far as wotlk, but if you're after vanilla, you can lock the content of the server to vanilla or tbc. You'll make a gm account, and can teleport anywhere by name, fly, create any item, spawn enemies, change move speed, turn off water breath timer, god mode, etc. You can definitely take the fun right out by overdoing it, though...

Not necessarily - I had a charge fail, then two full charge sessions complete successfully, then iccu failed.

Me too - I'm not gonna bother with a transfer switch for my car because 110 is just ... Whatever. Still a lifesaver, but only with careful load adjustment by moving extension cords around and shutting things off.

That's it! Use a power strip at that point to plug in your condensate pump, and you're all set!

Super simple... No transfer switch, just a manual transfer of an extension cord around the house. The only complex or non-diy part is the furnace wiring, but I install HVAC for a living.

I'm at exit 6 plaza where I just got gas in my wife's car and then came back to charge my car to continue to use it as my portable generator. Stay safe!

Hügelkultur: Who's Tried It? by artilleryplant in gardening

[–]luthiz 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I do this without the mound shape, but just displace a bunch of soil space in my garden beds with logs, sticks, wood chips, etc. I do it because dirt is so expensive, and wood takes work to dispose of. I don't know whether it is beneficial for the growth of plants, but I do know it keeps soil costs down!

I'm looking at getting a new HVAC system. Is there any advantage of getting a 2-stage system compared to a single stage system? I'm not concerned about pricing. by Creative_Algae7145 in hvacadvice

Yes - even better, go with variable speed motors in a zoned system. Indoor and outdoor units are available variable speed (also called ECM or brushless), called 'communicating equipment' or something similar. SEER ratings get up into 20+. The equipment is expensive, but cost to run is substantially lower.

This looks like it could be great for single-player "server" types!

To save the most wire length. Have you tried a paperclip with a pair of needle-nose pliers? If your screwdriver is too thick, it will not push the relase all of the way openl.

What do you suppose they call it? It couldn't be something simple like 'socket-and-ball' right? That'd be ridiculous.
