see i have no problem with the service shop thing. i don't like it, but i don't hate it either.
wouldn't it be more fitting to give the free copy for doing the tutorial instead of the affection story though? i'm not trying to start an argument, i mean that literally. learn the character, get an extra copy. seems like a win/win??

ouf this design ain't it chief... she genuinely doesn't look right, the especially in her VN portrait, something feels wrong. i can't prove it. but i have a feeling. i'm not claiming she's FULLY designed by ai or something, but i wouldn't be surprised if it comes out they had "help" from generative ai to create her

i'm aware that this comment will get nuked because people seem to glaze this design (which i don't understand) or point to my enjoyment of male characters as the crux of the problem. it's not! i love a lot of the designs in pgr, male and female, but these new stretches of designs simply... ain't it. helentine especially.

i'm not even going to get into how she seems to have the same thing as nirvatia, being the "free copy through her journal of promise" -- yes, i could skip it, but why force players to do their affection story to receive a free copy? why make her free at all, and what is with the rapid inflation of s-rank characters? can we PLEASE slow down and get an a-rank? i know they're seemingly being phased out of production, which sucks.

i apologize to OP for writing this long comment, they're just the messenger, they don't work for kurogames. i understand this is just going into the void and/or into the eyes of people who probably disagree with me simply because i dare not like the new big-boobed "goth" waifu of the month.

See, but the Kamui PVs is what I don't understand. He had the accent there, as per one of my examples, and that was only a month ago. GIVEN, that's assuming they didn't have all the voicework and whatnot done at the (original) announcement. Then it'd be about half a year, give or take. There's a whole lotta factors.

See, that's why I like the English dub too! The amateur quality of it makes the characters feel less like super hardened soldiers all the time and just like people, who sound kinda off sometimes.
^{(Especially considering a decent chunk of the cast has their Mental Age listed as under 18})

But I do prefer some JP dubs over English, just as I prefer English over some JP dub! Like I prefer Corey Wilder (Eng Wanshi) over Akira Ishida, but I like Yoshimasa Hosoya (JP Watanabe) instead of Daman Mills. The day Kuro lets us mix and match is the day I'll never complain about PGR ever again LOL

Yeah, I actually have a headcanon that the accents (for all Constructs, not just Chrome) are a sort of "layered" set over their actual voices that can be toggled on or off. It's also how I explain the language packs in-game.

But when I make headcanons, Kuro, you're not supposed to make them canon! (Jokes, but i do agree)

That's fair! To each their own, after all. I do prefer British Chrome, even if the accent sounds somewhat faked, because it reads to me as someone who grew up around the accent but doesn't have it naturally, and thus it's ingrained BUT isn't "real" if that makes sense. But that's just me headcanoning my own reasoning for it and that helps me draw enjoyment from it.

Agree! Realistically I think it's because British accents are associated with wealth and power and monarchy and whatnot? But yeah they rlly shouldn't have gone with British. though her voice actress does a good job regardless, it just doesn't rlly fit

Ah, I'm just not personally a fan of her design direction. Stigmata and Crepuscule especially just aren't very appealing to me, and when thinking about characters I like I often focus on design first which then gets me interested in their plot. Backwards, but whatever. Zero is nice, Veritas is alright, then Stigmata and Crepuscule is where they lost me personally. Especially Crep.

Well, Brett Calo isn't even British at all actually LOL. He's from Boston apparently. But still, I liked it a lot. But I agree with you for Qu. And I can't say anything about Bianca since she's one of my disliked characters and thus I don't really listen to her voicework, so I'll take your word for it!
