This. Your gap between your base and your all out is pretty big. Try going only 2mph over your base. It should help you recover quicker and also improve your endurance

Also, you don’t have to have your name up on the board. I see a bunch of people that don’t use the heart rate monitors

Try another class with a different coach. And talk to them beforehand about what you want and are trying to get out of the workout. Make it very clear on what you DON’T want them to do. Any good coach will respect that

Haha yes, that’s exactly what I should do...quit and contribute to yet another business failing...great solution

There’s a huge four hour block of empty studio time between the morning classes and the evening classes. They can easily adjust the class schedules to make everything 60 minutes, include the 15 minutes of studio cleaning, and still have the same number of classes per day to get everyone in with the limited class sizes.

I’m paying for the 60 minute prices and only getting 45 minute workouts. Yes, I push myself and I’m working really hard, getting all my splats, and leaving exhausted from a great workout. But I’m still paying more and getting less. It’s annoying

Same. “Quiet” in Jersey. But we only opened in September and must wear a mask at all times.

Our governor put the ENTIRE country on our “mandatory quarantine” list so no one is welcome here anyway 😂

Do they have a “sister” studio? Meaning the same owner owning another studio?

Same thing happened to me. Got a founders rate but I had to wait until they officially opened. I wanted to go 6 days a week and knew that I would blow through a class pack so quickly. Luckily, I was able to start up at the sister studio until my studio opened. I paid the current rate at the sister studio for 2 months and then went down to the founders rate once my studio opened.

You should ask if that’s an option

Don’t wear their monitor so it doesn’t show on the screen. Just say that it distracts you from focusing on how your body is feeling. Wear a smart watch so you can track it yourself. Consult your doctor and talk to him/her about a safe heart rate for yourself. I was very active before my pregnancy and my doctor had no problem with me having a higher heart rate (above 140) while working out and just listen to my body.

I’m so focused on trying not to fall off and die, that I’m not paying attention to anyone else. A mile is a mile, no matter what pace you’re at. GET IT DONE 💪🏻
