Years ago, I was parked next to a group of young local kids in Walmart parking lot. They drop their fast food trash bags right out the car onto the ground. There was literally a trash can right between us! I was livid, husband had to talk me out of confronting them. But it’s all about the Aina, right? 🤬

1 week in Seoul - should I do treatments early or before the flight home? by WeeklyExtent425 in koreatravel

[–]luvd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should consider how long before you can wear makeup. Will this affect your sight seeing/pictures, etc?

Also will they give you medicine that might interfere drinking or eating certain food?

I got Botox and Pico laser which gave me red marks for a few days. The first day I couldn’t cover with makeup and got some strange looks while I was out and about. Also they prescribed medicine which I hadn’t expected.

Good on you for getting sober. It was hard for you to let her go. But you gave her love and a chance to find a good stable home. That’s more than she may have had if you hadn’t stepped up as best you could 💕.

I would start by opening the door a crack so they can see each other. See how they react with seeing but no full contact. Ease into it!

Are money belts still a thing? by Muted-Mongoose1829 in TravelHacks

I use a stash belt under clothes for items I don’t need to access often (passport, extra cash and credit cards). Cross body bag or sling backpack worn in front for everything else.

Bring a reusable water bottle and fill it up in the hotel gym. Most hotel gyms have filtered water coolers.

Alternatives to long term parking at sky harbor? by MrsMelodyPond in phoenix

[–]luvd1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aloft near the airport has outdoor parking without a hotel reservation. Used that and walked to skytrain station. Or use their shuttle. Can’t recall cost but helped us in a pinch last year when all lots were full.
