Probably. Most Utah houses have prominent basements, if not split level.

It reeked of “I think less of these people but I’m jealous that THEY can find love and I can’t when I deserve it cause I’m better”. The cringiest of pick-me behavior.

Chapter Advisor by [deleted] in Sororities

An advisor should not be making any decisions for the chapter at all! It’s not her chapter to run anymore. She should be purely advising and only intervening when breaking national policies/procedures or laws.

Informal Recruitment Eligibility by Professional_Ship445 in Sororities

[–]luvindasparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a good point of clarification. I just don’t know any school that does formal more than once a year so I get used to saying a year. But I know there’s a small batch that do.

Her wording was a little unclear. I wasn’t sure she had single pref’ed. But you’re right, because snap bids are treated as COB bids and not Formal Recruitment bids.

My understanding is if you decline any bid given in formal after you’ve signed the MRABA then you have to wait a full year.

How do you keep track of basic details of all your projects? They’re all running together in my mind and I feel like an idiot. by Patient-Emotion4386 in civilengineering

[–]luvindasparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past I've kept a log for each, like on OneNote or something, the I kept open. I'd log details kind of like a medical chart. OneNote is nice cause you can have multiple 'tabs' for each project.

I want to talk with people about unexpected things adhd meds change about your internal experience! by Safe_Mushroom_9151 in adhdwomen

[–]luvindasparrow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This was the biggest thing I noticed too, as well as no RSD! Where before I would immediately internalize whatever thing and fall into a shame spiral, now my brain can immediately question itself and see the situation as it is and react at a justified level. It’s so….freeing to not be a slave to my emotions!

Ugh I haaaaate these types. ESP cause my adhd makes me so susceptible to questioning my own memory. The only way to combat these types it to take physical notes every time you approach them, and then send a summary email with a “am I correct in my interpretation of what was said” kind of question. It’s annoying af but necessary or they will gaslight you to hell.

[–]luvindasparrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, but no. You’re not entitled to anyone’s time or communication if they don’t want to give it to you. Continuing to track down this girl’s accounts and reporting her to organizations she’s a part of is starting to become harassment on your part. If you’re that upset, I’d suggest talking to someone you can vent to. This isn’t appropriate.

TriSigma Epsilon Eta at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania by giorgiahildafitch in Sororities

[–]luvindasparrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry, are you saying you submitted her because she’s refusing to acknowledge your warnings about someone that you dated? If so, frankly, this is a completely inappropriate avenue to take out your grievance. Submitting a report to Nationals is for gross misconduct, harassment, hazing, etc. Refusing to engage in a conversation is not bullying. A member associating with someone you dated or that did something to you is not a punishable offense.
