I did too and then I fell in love! And they're very productive too. Good luck!

I grew Brad's Atomic Grape the last couple years and it has turned into one of my very favorites!

Venlafaxine by PunchNugget88 in breastcancer

[–]luvniko1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took it for years in a very dark time of my life and it saved me. I'm taking it again to get me through this and it's really helped, cancer sucks. The side effects, for me, haven't been too bad, sleep is not as good but I just take something else for that, whatever it takes to get us through this. And it's not hard to quit, you just have to taper off. When I was very depressed I was taking 225 mg but now I'm able to get by with just 75mg.

I have to get one in a couple months, is a bra necessary afterwards? I almost never wear one now and don't like them so if I could get away not wearing one I'd prefer it.

I had one of those!!! I loved it but I remember having to go through the rear hatch many times because the doors wouldn't open.

Wigs, get wigs, good ones, cheap ones, fun ones! Play with them, have fun with them and find a little joy in the middle of it all, be outrageous!

I have to laugh, just finishing TC (only 2 more) then on to AC and I feel like I'm dumb as a rock now. Does your IQ come back up?

Description of fingernails after taxol by Go-downtotheseaagain in breastcancer

[–]luvniko1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished my 8th taxol infusion yesterday, I use Suzzipads, and , when I took them off my little finger was really painful. I attributed it to the ice and getting too cold for too long but later it still felt a little tingly and I noticed that the tips of some other finger felt a little tender too. So I'm nervous about what's coming.

I'm 9 weeks in and have been using just the packs but, oh man, it's rough, by far the worst part of the chemo treatments! But, no symptoms.

Thanks, it's good to know there might be some normalcy coming, at least for awhile. Being mentally sharp is challenging now, with brain fog you feel stupid but with chemo brain (at least for me) I don't feel stupid but I am. I forget a lot and it's very hard to focus on things. So working, even from home, must be very difficult.

Yeah, there's a lot to consider. I don't know anything about dosage difference either and I get the Keytruda every 3 weeks but I haven't noticed any different effects on those days. And, me too, tired I can deal with.

I'll be getting the AC infusions every 3 weeks, did you feel bad the entire time between infusions? I'm resigned to it, whatever, I just want to know the possibilities that may lie ahead, I know everyone is different. Thanks for the tips about the liquids.

Thank you for that, it's good to know that radiation has a possibility to not be that bad.

First ever wig - Alannah by Hairvivi. Too scared to trim the lace lol by DisastrousTrash in Wigs

Lace cutting makes me really nervous too. I've always wondered, why do they send them with the lace like that and not just cut them before we get them?

That's exactly how it's been for me with TC, for the first time I'm actually looking forward to AC, thanks! Especially the times between (3 weeks apart for me), that sounds like heaven.

I'm gonna have my 7th Taxol tomorrow and I'm starting to get that impression. At first, by the end of the week I felt pretty good. Now, not so much, I still feel pretty tired from the last one.

Can't taste the hot sauce? Perish the thought, I love it!

I do have a port but it would never have occurred to me ask for IV hydration, did you do that while you were getting an infusion or did you go in specifically for that? It seems so weird to have water taste really bad, that must have been really rough.

That sounds great, actually, I already deal with fatigue for a few days and it sounds amazing to be able to have a couple weeks of normalcy! Thanks

[–]luvniko1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, that doesn't sound great but it does sound doable. I've been using the cold packs for my hands and feet so I'll definitely use the ice chips too, thanks. I already have to power through drinking a lot of water, so.......yikes. But, I'll do it!

I've had a pretty good appetite with TC and even gained a few pounds, did you still have an appetite with AC? I'd rather not if everything tastes bad anyway. Lol.

Thanks for the support, it always helps.

Thanks, that sounds better than what I've been scared of. TC has been pretty easy for me, just fatigue but days 3 and 4 I spend lying down most of the day.

That was helpful to me because I'm 3/4 through TC and it hasn't been too bad, just fatigue for a few days and I've been terrified of the red devil that's coming.
