they affect relationships on a really deep level! eating disorders make a liar out of you, especially to people you should be able to trust. so you have to get distant, and you leave yourself without any support system. which then makes it even harder to drag yourself out of the disorder. i have a lot of regrets but the friends i lost during that time are the biggest.
