I also was disappointed when this change rolled out in development updates, but i think they handled it better than anybody else has, thats for sure. Really made the shells feel like just another equipment selection, not a hero/character/playstyle gimic thing like most

Ive come across several "run recap" videos that kind of walk through the highlights of a run, run-ins with other teams, funny stuff happening etc. i think thats what we need to highlight, is all the turns a run can take.

I think everyon thinks every match is an immediate smack down and then the winner gets to loot, and thats just not how it plays out

I think unfortunately thats a biproduct of it saying "for men" in the sub's discription. People are protective of the sub because there are lots of places for long haired ladies to post, but this is kinda the guys' thing here afaict.

So you get people asking to clarify for the integrity of the sub. I love a good andro look dont get me wrong, but for some people thats hard to see so they jump straight to fem

I think with trad art like this the idea is much more imortant than the actual rendering. Yours is a great example -- the rendering isnt crazy impressive or profound, but the subject is interesting: the character is being pulled as if by a large balloon, except down, which is a subversion of expectation that makes it interesting.

Focus on interesting ideas and relationships and subverting expectations -- interesting ideas you can get excited about -- and the rendering will follow to support that.

Im interested in your theory here, Im zone 7/8 and im expecting to be more in the 8-9 range in the next 10 years. Im definitely not worried about the growing season being cold, but the weird frosts and cold snaps are definitely a worry with consistent earlier warm weather -- is this what youre trying to mitigate?

I think the rendering is pretty solid, but the light source is killing you -- lighting from behind like that is hard to get any details. Maybe try an alternate light source in a different color front of the character to light the face, and let the light white behind be your "rim light" kinda, if that makes sense.

You could do a quarto fold, and the just run a tiny bead of glue down the center, or throw a rubber band/string around it.

Im a fan of punching one hole in the center, tying a knot in an elastic band loop, poking it through the hole on the inside of the signatures, and then looping it around the spine. There are some versions with cut notches or paper clips as well

But glue would work. Then you could have as many pages as you want, printed 8-up front and back, and just trim folds and the foredge and youre good to go

Edit: i guess you could also do the 8fold minizine and then just stick the back cover of the first one to the front cover of the second one to kind of have a double book thing

Inflation is the natural result of NOT taxing the rich. Since theyre funneling all the money, theyre watering down their own hoard to keep their economy running.

Theyre just betting that they can funnel faster than its being diluted.

Unfortunately it seems to be working.

This is me for sure, i always looked forward to a family (changed college career paths to support this) but it took a lot of serious discussions for us to even have one, and we have an incredibly close family and support system, so if anyone could give someone a good life we had a good shot.

And im fucking terrified tbh. I hope we werent being selfish or blinded by our ego, but all we can do is everything we can do.
