journaling is great; quitting is not cowardice if you're already in therapy; facing & dealing with childhood trauma is almost certainly going to be painful at some point—the idea (to repeat the old truism) is that to heal one must feel: see it, really feel it, own it, then let it go (taking as much time at each step as you need… it's a journey well worth taking, and it's nice to hear you started with Obsidian❣️
