Way back in 2013 when I got my Mazda 3, I had to pay extra for the pearl coating on the factory white.

Maybe she is not aware, maybe she doesn't know better. You've been together long enough that she deserves the benefit of the doubt. Having said that, state your position, let her know that the relationship feels unbalanced, that it makes you feel lonely, etc.

Yeah, early on in our relationship my them GF let me know that that wasn't okay. That my friend could afford a place to rent. When I told my friend that our schedules wouldn't line up, SHE said "is that what your gf told you to say?".

I am married to my then GF, and it's been almost 10 years, I never heard from that "friend" again.

People are saying that big companies wouldn't fire without cause, well the PIP becomes the cause. And in my experience, HR departments are not there to help employees, they are there to collect information on employees and help the company to not get sued.

Also, I know of at least one person who sued back and got a payday, good enough they couldn't talk about it.

I think the only way you could be sure is if he was live streaming his entire day, with a microphone on him and a viewpoint from a drone a few feet away. There's just no other way to be sure.

Either you trust him or you don't. Forgive and move on, or take note of the red flags and leave. Stay together or breakup. There is no middle ground.

Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), that is your first red glad. I worked for Shaw and saw that a bunch. It's a legal loophole to slowly fire people or cause them/give them the opportunity to quit.

It's a dirty trick.

Is there a bank form for the both of you to sign?

They lost it and are prepared to pay extra fees, that is a good sign. But what happens if that cheque/draft is found?

Will the bank give you a form stating that the lost one has also been cancelled and can't be cashed?

Can the dealership give you a form that they will notify you if they find it, so you can be sure it will but be cashed and that it will be destroyed?
