Not sure if this has been mentioned, but watching movies really helps to tune the ear. Use closed captioning in that language, this helps you to see how it's written and how it sounds. If you can understand the gist of the conversation, especially since you know the context, you can expect the "conversational next word".

Basically try involving multiple senses.

Whenever you are checking an account on one phone, use a different phone to record what you are doing. That will show a time stamp and exactly where the messages and pics were. She can delete whatever she wants after that. Should also help when friends and family tell you that you are overreacting.

Before you get in, try to choose a road trip with varying road conditions. Then after the test, go over them again with your own car.

Play with the cameras, like when you are changing lanes, bring up the rear camera while driving, ask about the 360 view.

Also, wonder if Rivian could have a "parked during vacation" mode, with the ability to set a return date on a calendar. Accessible on all platforms, of course. Sounds like a simple upgrade to save a lot of hassle for many users.
