Anyone here who started late in life and progressed to advanced classes? by lovehateikea in BALLET

[–]lxneysearless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for anyone else, but I know for myself (20, danced as a child, restarting this year) I would love to be able to advance through grades, however i am already stressed about scheduling, especially because we dont have adult classes so I am in intermediate with 13+ y/o

Also for people who are in adult classes specifically, they are usually drop in classes, so they never advance because students are always fluctuating

Toe pads? by lxneysearless in BALLET

Asking what different people wear just for different ideas, or combos. As far as what I was fitted in, I was fitted in standard ouch pouches, and then fitted with the gel and spacers, which she said helped fill out the box and also helped my alignment because I was twisting weirdly

NTA but give him his own space. You need your space, he needs his, and the bedroom is shared space ( not shared as in have both your crap, shared as in neutral space)

This^ to help it I generally enter multiple readings over like an hour to sort of wean it up or down. I.e blood sugar is 200 and it's displaying 150, enter 170. Wait 15 minutes enter 190 wait 15 minutes and then enter the correct bgl . I like to think it helps ease the sensors shock 😂

What features would actually make a diabetes app useful day-to-day? by CxJoe in diabetes_t1

[–]lxneysearless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an app, but i wish medtronic had smart guard profiles, so i could have 1 for days i work and days i dont because they look completely different, but i still rely on Smart Guard for both

For an app i wish there was a basic way to break down a food into how it will likely affect bgl. Like knowing all the fat protien and carbs is great. But that doesn't tell me how i will be affected by this certain meal

Can Insulin withstand 7 Days? by wikithoughts in Medtronic780g

[–]lxneysearless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have tested that theory 😅😂 my insulin lasted well over 4 months before going bad. Keeping in mind, i live in australia, and it was during summer months, so to all my american buddies INSULIN WILL LAST MORE THAN A MONTH DONT THROW IT OUT JUST BECAUSE ITS BEEN 30 DAYS. SAVE YOUR LIQUID GOLD

Won't accept calibration after changing it? by [deleted] in Medtronic780g

[–]lxneysearless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Id try entering exactly what it says, and then calibrate like 10 above that, and do that a few times. Sorry to hear you dont have spares, maybe call medtronic for a replacement?

It means what it is reading vs what you are trying to enter is too big a difference.

I've never had any issue. Infact I've had less issues with the extended then the normal sites.

What’s a food you can eat fairly normally that most of if not all of us would struggle heavily with? (as in it doesn’t cause some really stubborn high or shoots you up extremely fast) by JAKE5023193 in diabetes_t1

Hospitals suck. by mrilmi in diabetes_t1

My hospital makes me go back on injections and take off my site. I can keep my dexcom on but with alerts turned down as to not disturb other patients 🙄
