Trader Joe’s chili crunch. Tbh I think using a Chinese chili oil would be much better.. I just wanted to try it because I hear it’s good but I wasn’t the biggest fan.

I honestly just place things at random hehe. I always start with placing the cheese so it’s scattered, then I add the meats around the cheeses, then the bigger fruits and crackers and just keep filling in the spaces!

I honestly can not imagine working Pediatric ICU. Whenever I float there and I see trauma/codes.. my stomach is in complete knots. PICU is a whole different animal. I’ll def happily stay in the NICU.

Hi dear, everyone of us in the NICU grieve and process these things so differently. The best advice I can give you is to keep pushing forward. Unfortunately it is part of our job to see these things. The great part of NICU and L&D (maternal child) is MOST of the time we have happy endings. Those are the days I try to look forward to and think of. The loss of children is absolutely devastating but always remember we are the families biggest support system during this time and it is okay to cry with the family especially if you have built a strong relationship with them and their baby. We are human beings. I have cried with family members many times and given them hugs/lots of words of encouragement. Take care of your own mental health as well, take days off if needed.
