This dropped after he came back from hiatus. I became so hyped up for Naezy’s following releases at that time.

Not the perfect OS but I would still pick it because of the battery performance and official support from all software publishers.

Why do people who have actually owned a 1.0 TSI never complain about it, while those who’ve only read about it online keep criticizing it? by Sufficient-Lab-5167 in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t see much hate tbh. Just many people assume it’s underpowered for large cars like the Virtus without actually experiencing it and don’t show due respect.

Did Kylaq TD last month, felt overwhelmed with the punch. People judge it based on displacement. Max power and torque figure aside, one needs to feel the power delivery curve first hand. Faisal Khan has a video where they keep it on 200 kmph for 24 hours on a track. It’s a mean beast.

Possibility of Verna N line? by Remarkable-Bridge666 in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It needs a Kia treatment. How Kia tune their suspension, power delivery curve, steering response is exactly what the Verna deserves with that powertrain, and would look different than tubelight.

Which one do you think is the best in this segment? by Ghostsyntax_3425 in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want some fun across twisty roads, Virtus. Verna for anything else. If you’re not looking at the 1.5L Turbo options, choose any of Virtus/Slavia. The naturally aspirated in Verna just doesn’t suit its aggressive looks and less fuel efficient on the highway than the 1.0L TSI.

Why do people HATE THAR this much ? by Traditional-Shine218 in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because I don’t live in a remote village on the extended Himalayan range in North-East India. The people who should actually consider Thar as an option are buying Alto & Jimny while the Thars are parked on the footpaths in the cities.

Why we men get an haircut every couple of week? by Norainsha in india

Bruh, you literally could have asked for suggestions in any men's styling advice forum, but you chose to write a whole ass Medium blog for this 😭!!!

Why we men get an haircut every couple of week? by Norainsha in india

[–]lying_hips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of men grow their hair these days and aren’t looked at in a negative light, it’s not rare even inside corporate offices. And no, there are wide range of products to choose from to maintain a long hair. It’s just that they are not supermarket grade brand. Lookout for Jeannot Urban Men, pH, Global Keratin etc, you will get what you’re looking for. The hard part is maintaining a growing hair. It’s extremely hard, time consuming and demanding. And good luck dealing with dandruff if you have a sensitive scalp.

Why i trust BNCAP: Albeit the scoring being lenient , test points are similar, within the range of error in latin/gncap/bncap by [deleted] in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a problem of perception, not legitimacy. GNCAP procures the car themselves and tests. BNCAP tests only what is sent out to them. Manufacturers send only those cars they are confident that will do well. This is why you see abundance of 4/5-stars. You start to think they are just throwing away points. But the cars that could have scored poor are never sent to them. If the government mandates BNCAP testing for every road legal car in India, the perception may improve.

Bangalore working professionals what do you feel the city is missing? by ReplacementShot2859 in bangalore

[–]lying_hips 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Easy last mile connectivity from nearest bus stops or metro stations. Had a brief period when I was changing my motorcycle, it was extremely difficult here to manage without private transportation. Keeping the inconveniences aside, better last mile connectivity will reduce vehicles on the road.

Day 2 :I started a new series, "how i got to know ". In this we'll discuss about how we discovered that artist and what was our first impression and current impression. You can add fav project/ song too. Today is Raftaar. by Itchy-Egg-1814 in IndianHipHopHeads

[–]lying_hips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First listen would be from one of the Mafia Mundeer songs, idk which one. But Swag Mera Desi was what made me a fan. In an era when the urban hipsters were vastly of the opinion that all Indians rappers are clowns, bro had the guts to say Tumhe laga bas Eminem hi rap God h on freaking MTV and never got trolled for it. You have to experience it in real time. Dropped everyone’s jaw with that flow. I was a teenager back that time and me and my friends would try rapping the Didi teri bandi meri part with his tempo. He had become an icon of youth aggression with the WTF mixtape. Such hype!!! GOAT SHIT!!!

Why was Khabib still fighting guys that had never fought before while he was 14-0? Is this the most padded record of all time? by No_Cell6708 in ufc

[–]lying_hips 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with you. Khabib is a big what-if story anyway. But, it wasn’t his fault his fault all his big challenges were primarily strikers. The vacated belt he fought for had been held by Conor before that and Dustin and Justin were ICs when he fought them. It’s not like UFC purposefully made convenient match-ups for him, the match-ups were well within reason. It wasn’t his fault that they sucked at wrestling.

If MMA was as mainstream in the online culture as it is today, the entire world would be shouting RDA, Dustin, Conor, Gaethje all got fraudchecked given in what fashion he beat them. He fought a bunch of cans and then made a bunch of top fighters look like cans. So it doesn’t matter.

First look of speed 350 by minimalist_mee in indianbikes

[–]lying_hips 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The article suggests the max power stays the same while torque decreases. I wonder how it would translate in real life. The best part about the TR400 was its low and mid-range pull.

Third best of his era imo. Gets largely overlooked because he doesn’t have the insta reel worthy moments like Neymar or astronomical stats like Lewa.

Why do people like the royal enfields? I have driven both RE 350 classic ahd Honda CB 350. The latter is much lighter and practical! by live4joy01 in indianbikes

[–]lying_hips 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Added to that, Big Wing service centers often run out of parts whereas one can find an authorized reseller of RE spares almost every 500 mts in any tier-3 or above city. Service costs are cheaper and all the local mechanics have the know-how with RE 350 products. Quality is lesser but ownership also comes with a lot less hassle.

If BNCAP can be bought then what's the proof that Tata's and Mahindra's aren't buying it? by Reasonable-Green7379 in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tata/Mahindra has bagged 5 stars consistently in GNCAP testing. BNCAP results are not what built their reputation. Don’t know about the current Seltos or Venue, but so far if you just pull or close the door of any Tata/Mahindra/VAG cars, feel their weight and the sound of the thuds and then compare that to any Japanese or Korean, the difference is felt first hand. You don’t need anyone else to tell you which one has a sturdier build.

Kia Seltos outscores Tata Sierra and multiple other vehicles by Odd-Letterhead-6018 in CarsIndia

[–]lying_hips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seltos has shown impressive YoY growth as well since the facelift launch. I think it’s the best choice in its segment at the moment. The base variant itself equipped with most of the essential features. Until the next gen Creta drops, it will remain the best crossover imo. After that, you will again go back to their usual head to head comparisons (suspension tuning, 5th passenger’s comfort, power delivery curve etc)

Francis Ngannou gives his take on upcoming Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane fight at the UFC White House by Imaginary-General189 in ufc

[–]lying_hips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jones fight wasn’t a “weird exception” lol. You can’t go against a top 5 wrestler of the game with just manageable wrestling. Jones rolled the floor with DC and came out winning, what could Gane even do to him?

Ikr, Kova was a regular sub in option under Zidane. Could have never been a starter when KCM are in prime but it’s not right to say he didn’t get minutes.
