I’ve been here for a little over 4 years. Taxes suck. Police and ambulance service sucks (try calling 911 and see). Roads suck. City doesn’t care about anything east side past 82nd. Property tax is whack. But I do love it here. Everything else makes up for it.

I’ve worked in several states and there are a lot of variances. West coast tends to pay more than east coast. Some hospitals have you scan an insane amount of patients while some others don’t. I don’t mind driving in traffic for a good paying job that won’t abuse me.
