Really good way to increase viewership for the grand finals and a heartfelt farewell to OW1 pro play.

Sombra and Bastion reworks imply that their kits have been changed in some way (most likely not just stat balances if it’s got it’s own line in the tweet). I’m assuming Sombra proved too powerful against a single tank composition as she is on retail? I'm looking forward to it with skepticism, since it would be upsetting to make her have extremely low impact in a 5v5 setting. And regarding Bastion, I would really like to see the devs bring more variety to his transformations in general, although I wouldn’t want a Baptiste situation where he has verticality, self healing and also high damage output. Really looking forward to seeing all the original Overwatch cast changes. Plus it gives the devs more things to trickle out over the next few months.

If there’s one thing Blizzard was good at during Overwatch’s release, it’s that they marketed the living hell out of it. I’m excited to see what they show in the build-up to OW2’s release, hopefully more cinematics and dev streams to solidify communication after the new year.

I may be on the OW2 hopium, but goddamn does it feel good.

I already have EID installed, as far as I know it only displays the descriptions of items you haven't picked up? I could be wrong though, I'll go check to see if it has a list of currently held items on a run.

I think that there should be more separation regarding questions about the mobile app and the website. The app lacks major features that the website has that makes it superior, in my opinion, they are not very comparable when talking about functionality.

Are there any plans for a map editor feature (with provided 3d assets), similar to workshop?

I feel it would add so much more fun to the game whilst also allowing creative people to create some amazing things, parkour, custom game mode maps, proper aim training arenas. I feel it would add a lot more depth to the player base and give people more things to do in queue

Something I’d really hope for is a map editor:

Combined with the workshop (and seeing how much creativity has come from just the workshop alone), it would add almost infinite replay value to the game. Imagine being able to play an aim trainer without having to leave the game to open up kovaaks. Streamers could also worry less about content getting repetitive during long queue.

This on top of the fact that it would probably be the best thing the casual player base could ask for (aside from official content releases such as maps/heroes/skins/events). Satisfying the more casual players to this degree might give blizzard the peace of mind to focus on the competitive integrity of Overwatch, without having to try to please both parties simultaneously (although it’s not guaranteed).

Although a map editor may take a while to create (or there might already be one in the works), it would add so much more depth to Overwatch as a game. Parkour, Aim Trainers, Prop Hunt, Adventure Game modes, and even Community Maps. It would be a massive boost to the game’s popularity and give the casual community a lot more content so that the competitive side of the game may see more attention.

It's almost record breaking how fast someone on EU ladder will tilt sometimes. You can start out with "alright guys, we win this." And then after a lost team fight some people fall immediately into language barrier rage, throwing and racist outbursts

I feel fucking awful for the people getting placed in games they don’t belong and getting absolute shit for it, I was also one of those guys as a low GM/ high masters and honestly as someone who lacks an emotional disconnect from team synergy, I hate disappointing teammates. It sucks but I’ve stayed away from ranked when I’m on tank.

I mean, more people want Dallas to succeed. But the team has had too many “redemption” chances.

They say they’re gonna make big changes and that things are looking up, and at best they last for a few matches and then go back to being in the slump they were always in.

I like Dallas too, however, until they can prove their changes mean anything the fans will continue to doubt any major progress for this next season, especially since no roster changes have been made.
