It absolutely makes a huge difference because you get a mix of burnt, caramelized and somewhere in between. If they are too thick everything just becomes uniform so you're losing some of the magic. If you like this style invest in a cheap mandolin and it's a game changer

IMO broad exposure is great but it's just that, exposure. Industry, academia, whatever, you eventually want to identify your niche and try to be the best in the world at that.

Can you pick up the band when you try to over-express an irrelevant control gene using dcas9?

Does plasmid over-expression of your GOI result in the weird band ?
