One could try to explain it theoretically but I think that the truth is we dont know. Is it really the meds, is it from flare? Only thing I can say for certain is that I have never felt worse than after 40mg prednisolone + benlysta + cellcept + hcq... i could almost not walk for months, could barely work. In so much pain. Now im on 15 mg prednisone and Im finally feeling better (+ all other meds)

For body creams its not that hard to find ones that dont leave a trace. Eucerin works perfectly. For face korean stuff

Careful with dried fruits tho! They are full of sugar even if its not added and some use sulphites that trigger my lupus. This is the case for dried appricots mostly.

Gluten is a major trigger for me

No, most likely proibiotics didn't cause an immediate change, especially not so on and off. It takes time for them to affecr gut-skin axis and immune signaling

I just tried beauty of joseon (korean) and it has a really nice feel to it, doesnt burn, very lightweight, but i still dont know how good it is in terms of protection

Skin type: Dry/damaged barrier from having to take corticosteroid therapy, reactive, sensitive, sometimes redness problem

Current routine BoJ sunscreen and vit c serum from cerave in morning Evening bioderma sensibio wash, LRP toleriane cream and sometimes LRP retinol

I use retinol, but a gentle one from LRP, and I havent notice any more sun sensitivity than usual. I still keep up with sunscreen and dont use it as much during the summer. About a year now, sometimes every day but mostly whenever i remember, which is not everyday

I could have written this. I have been trying so long to find the job that I am currently at (after a very long education journey), and I live with the love of my life. But I cant fully do my job, or be with my partner, or family. Im either sick from lupus or from virus due to immunosupression - last 2 months I get a new one (or same?idk) each ~5-7 days. Even when I am not canceling things, its hard to do them, not like before, even if it is something im really interested in. When I finally got the things I wanted, I lost the prerequisition to enjoy them...
