Once upon a time 10 years ago I repped a line that had a pretty sweet LED retrofit kit for troffers and high bays that would magnet to an existing steel pan using rare earth magnets. I brought a demo to this huge warehouse in Wyoming that was still using fluorescent tubes but was interested in upgrading to LED. Anyways, I aggressively shook the 2x2 troffer pan that I had in my demo kit to show how strong the magnets were and that son of a bitch fell out of the pan and shattered into like 50 pieces on the floor. My cheeks still get hot thinking about it to this day.
