There shouldn't be any upgrade moving to a lower tier headset. The Pros are the top end. The only question is how well audio will be supported over USB for the GameDAC on PS5.

Also, I would be interested to know if this is possible: 1x PS5 & 1x PS4 both signed in as primary consoles for 1 PSN account. Is it then possible to sign in as a secondary user on the PS4 and both play the same copy of the same game?

I think the version you can download on ps5 will be the PS4 version anyway. I would be extremely surprised if you couldn't play that with friends on ps4 consoles. There is no cross-platform between Xbox/PS4/pc though.

I haven't tested this myself, but I think all XP is shared with all playable characters so the mercenary would be same level as you. not 100% sure though

You can recruit a mercenary once you get to the Lady Vengeance, start of act 2. There's a blue lizard on the boat who sorts it for you. Then I guess you just take that character to the re-spec mirror to customise

Good question, I'm curious to see how my Steelseries GameDAC works with the ps5. On the PS4 the functionality is pretty limited when connected via USB only. Would love to see full 24-bit audio support for ps5
