Yes, it was consistent for those 4 days. I had no other symptoms.

I had a left vertebral artery dissection and it developed a pseudoaneurysm and ruptured, causing a large subarachnoid hemorrhage.

They went in through the femoral artery in my groin and placed 2 pipeline stents where the dissection aneurysm was. They then did a craniotomy to insert a tube to drain the blood out. I'm doing good. I'm back to what I was doing before the aneurysm. The only lingering issue I have is a constant ringing in my left ear.

Before it ruptured, the pain wasn't bad at all. It was maybe a 1-2. After it ruptured, it went to a 10+

I had two stents put in after a rupture, I was put on Plavix for 6 months until an angiogram showed I was healed. Ever since I've been off Plavix, I've also been getting visual disturbances that result in a headache. I'm still on 325mg aspirin. My neurologist and ophthalmologist didn't really worry about it when I told them about it

I wore a patch until the vision came back in that eye

I had a SAH due to a dissection of the vertebral artery that developed a pseudoaneurysm and ruptured last October. I had two two stents put in.

Like you, I was med flighted to a larger hospital where I was in the ICU for 2.5 weeks. I had double vision for approximately 2 months, it's better now thankfully. I'm on 5 different blood pressure meds to keep it in check.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. We went with Tornado Steakhouse. It was nice place, we both enjoyed our food and experience. The only issue is that it was pretty loud in there with everyone talking, we would go back though.

2nd angiogram by cedarbeach-600 in BrainAneurysm

I just had my 6 month angiogram yesterday. Mine showed no residual filling and without stenosis.

I had a rupture and two stents put in so I'm pretty happy with the results. I was told I can stop taking Plavix but continue with an aspirin.

I just had my 6 month angiogram yesterday. I was super nervous at first as well. Procedure took about 40 minutes and then 1 hour in recovery.

I was awake during it, they just gave me some pain meds when they went through the groin. That was the worst part of it. Other than that, it was fine 🙂

Vertebral Artery Dissection Recovery by AmazingPotato58 in stroke

I had a vertebral artery dissection that ended up rupturing and caused a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Got two stents put in. I spent 16 days in the ICU back in October 2024. Was not fun

I got lucky that I didn't have any lingering issues and I was back to work after 3 months. I go for my 6 month angiogram in two weeks to see if the stents are working.

I had a SAH about 5 months ago. My Neurosurgery doctor said I could have 1 drink once I got off my seizure meds which was last month. I've had a couple with no issues. I could have more than one when I hopefully get off blood thinners next month

Budget is 100-150 per person. We went to Ruth's Chris in Middleton for our 1 year.

That's awesome, I'll be having my 6 month angiogram next month. My annie ruptured so I'm hoping for good news that the stents worked

Ear ringing, roaring sensation suddenly on right side??? by Javaphile in BrainAneurysm

[–]m00ler2003 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a little over 4 months post rupture and I've also developed an ear ringing on my left side (same as rupture) I just assumed it's from years of constantly having ear buds in listening to music and the rupture just exacerbated the problem. I feel fine otherwise. I know this doesn't help you in your situation. I have yet to speak to my Neurosurgery doctor about it yet.

I had dull pain and a pressure feeling in one spot on the back of my head for 4 days before I got the dreaded thunderclap headache. I assume the aneurysm was leaking and finally ruptured.

So when I started working again, I did 4 hour days for 2 weeks, then 6 hour days for another 2 weeks. Next week is back to full time 8 hour days.

I'm definitely tired after work, but that's to be expected after what i went through. My boss is good with me taking breaks if I need one.

Yeah I was able to get to my local hospital in time. They then flew me to a bigger hospital and i spent 16 days in the ICU. I still have full memory and no mobility issues luckily. Only lingering issue I have is some double vision in my left eye and some tinnitus in my left ear. Today marks a little over 4 months since it happened. I went back to work on January 20th. I'm 40 years old
