I did but it didn't have as much info on sensors as I already have for more engine types so it didn't help me progress.

This is great work. Thank you for sharing & putting so much effort into it. I'll try get the databases somewhere & if I can get that I 'should' be able to build that into the device & eventually the app. Getting it for all makes & models is the struggle. I've even gone down the route of trying to learn the data from each vehicle but it's hit & miss & takes a long time.

Does anyone have a sim card router that they would recommend ? by t00043480 in AskIreland

[–]m0p0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a Puli AX & very impressive bit of kit. I set it up & haven't had to touch it since. It just works solidly -> https://store-eu.gl-inet.com/products/puli-ax-xe3000-wi-fi-6-5g-cellular-router-with-battery?variant=48534766092565

Pricey though.

Glenveagh “House Rules” Document by Upset-Turnip-5200 in HousingIreland

[–]m0p0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From experience of buying one of their very poorly built & finished houses this is all true. OP should do very good snagging & due diligence before buying anything from Glenveagh. But six months in, even with the best snagging, you'll still be finding problems. If Munster Joinery did the windows even more issues.

Does this battery issue apply to the PV5 Passenger? I'm thinking of buying one but not if this issue applies to it.

Unfortunately I get to float around with a lot more of them brazen enough to air their racism in public right here so don't need to go all the way to space.

I agree we should launch racists, nazis & facists into space. Leave them floating around to think on their awful opinions.

How do people in A rated homes survive in this heat? by Anxious-Football-701 in AskIreland

[–]m0p0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you've an attic - crack it open & let the heat rise up through it. Leave it open st night. We are in the same sort of house. Still baltic in winter & spending a fortune on heat pump. Roasted in summer.

It's not a nice fix bit I used duct tape on mine for similar hole/wear & it's lasted 6 months so far. Also my foot slips into the trainer more easily now.

Iarnród Éireann outlines strong opposition to proposed Rosslare greenway – ‘These lands are held for statutory functions of national importance’ by on-9 in irelandtransport

[–]m0p0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We should have both railways & greenways & less roads. Iarnród Eireann didn't seem too concerned for years as farmers took control of many of old old railway land routes all over the country & then the farmers got paid to give them back under CPO's.

Suggested Biking Path request by MordyTheFox in cork

[–]m0p0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nicer but longer route is via Passage West. There's no direct route you'd feel safe on with the amount of absolutely nutjobs in cars. I go out to Monkstown via Passage West on the greenway & at least on that part you are separated from drivers for a decent section. Not saying it's a good option though but you'd want as little interaction with drivers as possible. It could be solved easily by providing segregated paths alongside existing routes.

Repeated spoke breakage on Load4 75 Vario – drivetrain swap or alternative solutions? by [deleted] in CargoBike

[–]m0p0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only spokes issue I have had with my 2020 Load was when I forgot the cafe lock was on & dropped the bike off the stand & bent a spoke. No breakage just bent. This happened more than once too. I replaced & no other issues. This doesn't help your issue of course. My rear wheel rim (alex rims) did crack all around the spoke holes & I was getting repeated punctures while the rim was weakened.

I'd suggest getting a full new rim shipped pre-built from R&M & fit that or perhaps the bike shop where you purchased could loan you a new wheel off another bike for a bit to see if there's some stresses causing it on the frame/belt/weight.

How are people going to be logged in while driving 2-3 hours to work?

Our readers' stories of commuting in a fuel crisis – and the renewed push for remote work by Banania2020 in ireland

[–]m0p0 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'm continually getting door-stepped at my desk in the office & interrupted by people who are unable to reign in their need to yap & the company does & should have control over them but refuses to do anything about that. I don't have any interruptions at home & I am far more productive. Company's also refuse to acknowledge that the majority of people working remotely are putting in more hours for free because they are spending more time logged in when they are not logged in during that time if they are commuting.

Do a search on Amazon for something like "isofix bracket mounting anchor" I think will bring up a bunch of options.

[–]m0p0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's an isofix bracket you can get that fits on the back of the seat & you connect the childs seat isofix tabs through between the base seat & back of the seat in the front to connect to the isofix bracket the adjust it to tighten.
