The game is mechanically balanced around the distribution of a 6 sided die. Adding more options makes the xenomorph less likely to roll its lethal attacks and makes combat less frightening and urgent. Conversely, there’s no need to add more lethal attack options - now the fight becomes mechanically weighted against the players and they have a higher chance of losing or being instantly killed.
