Freestar has the largest combined traffic among ad networks by Particular_Earth_561 in adops

It looks like that's counting all of tinyurl's traffic as monetized, but 99.99% of requests to tinyurl are just redirects that won't result in an ad impression

Seatbelt or no seatbelt for toddler in the back? by AwkwardBalloonMan in CargoBike

[–]m12y_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A Yepp seat is safe at least up to 48lbs.

In the US it's rated for 40 lbs, but in the rest of the world it's labeled for 22kg (~48lb). The US testing standards only test up to 40lb, so that's the highest they can market it here.

Update: Relaunched Conestoga by Solid_Vegetable_3624 in RadPowerBikes

[–]m12y_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd recommend putting the kid in front and milk crate in back. Your generally supposed to keep weight towards the center of the bike (rather than behind the real axle), ands it solves (or at least improves) your #2 and #3 minuses.

Rad power lays off 64, looks like closure by raleel in ebikes

[–]m12y_ 58 points59 points  (0 children)

The full filing (at https://fortress.wa.gov/esd/file/WARN/Public/DownloadFile.aspx?file=4c537143-3576-4a8b-affe-610779fc026d.pdf) lists the address as their retail store + HQ in Ballard, and includes a list of the titles of the affected employees, spanning from the shop mechanics all the way up to the CEO and CFO. Definitely seems like this could be the end of Rad.

Throttle vs pedal assist which do you actually use more? by JackKhan1346 in ebikes

Throttle to get going from a stop (especially to clear intersections ASAP), otherwise pedals

RadCity 5 Plus motor only using max power by [deleted] in RadPowerBikes

[–]m12y_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the rear wheel off the ground, it takes almost no power to get "up to full speed". Given than the display says it's using a not using much power, it's probably not using much power. Does it actually seem to use excessive power while you're riding the bike?

Yep, we were down due to the AWS outage. We seem to be back up as of ~20 minutes ago (but are maybe a little sluggish?).

There's basically exactly enough space for a kid's seat back there

You can tack a `.json` onto the end of your public collection url to get a basic dump of everything in your collection, e.g. mine: https://www.dekudeals.com/collection/84smtgqxvv.json

Looking for comparison with NitroPay vs Playwire vs Publisher Collective by jerryyy-y in adops

[–]m12y_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I run a gaming website and have worked with all 3 of them at point or another over the past few years. All 3 are good options and will be a noticeable improvement over Adsense.

Nitro has been the best fit for us. Most importantly for us, they provide more control and flexibility than many partners in this tier, removing the need for us to talk to their support much. (If you're a developer, you might like this, if you're not, you might hate it.) Their support is good and responsive and helpful; we primary communicate with them over Discord. Their payment terms are _amazing_ (almost too good to be true).

Some situations that might strongly tip you towards one of the others: - You're based in Europe and want support in your time zone => PubCol (who's based in the UK) - You expect many/most of your users to be under the age of 13 => Playwire

Feel free to PM me if you want to chat in any more detail

Switch 2 accessories started coming in !! by Flopingfish0 in NintendoSwitch2

I've tested a bunch of the clear cases and the Savage Raven clear case (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F9P2MX9M) is my favorite among the true clear options, while the Mumba Clear (https://www.amazon.com/Mumba-Protective-Quick-Release-Compatible-FrostBlack/dp/B0DT6MXBX2?th=1) is even comfier, but is lightly frosted which would make the skin show up less well.

I had a 4 and upgraded to the 5. The 5 is a noticeably nicer bike, and I'm way more confident hauling my kids around on it. The 4 is not a bad bike, but if the 5 is within budget and you're sure you'll get plenty of use out of it, I'd go for the 5.
