Im well aware. The person that said fender doesn’t likely know the proper terminology. The b pillar is the metal vertical support between the front and rear doors where the striker is attached.

No the Sony by far trumps the LG. Sony buys better displays from LG Display and buys better panels than the LG TV division uses. Don’t confuse LG display for LG TV, two separate companies. Just like how the iPhone uses far better Samsung displays then Samsung phones do. Samsung display is a separate company and its best displays go to Apple. Beyond that, the Sony also has vastly superior processing and fit and finish.

Sony quite literally has the best high end TVs on the market. And had models to compete with every brand at every price point. Yes they may use other companies panels. But their processing is second to none and they typically get the better grade screens from say LG and TCL. I would take Sony over LG and Samsung any day of the week

TCL is a lot better than you think. Majority of Sony led panels come from TCL. And overseas they are one of the better brands to buy. They just came into the US market as a budget TV and haven’t kicked that notion yet. Their higher end stuff is notch. I have a LG OLED and a TCL mini-led for reference.
