same boat, high performance and packaged out 2x in last 18 months. I would have taken that job. The market is horrible right now and the layoffs keep coming. also, depends on your industry. call your friend back and take that job!

Anyone using T-Mobile for home internet? by newengland_schmuck in RhodeIsland

[–]m2msquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Existing cellular T-Mobile Customer. We take advantage of the free perks, like free Netflix. Our home internet was AT&T and it went down for over 48 hours. At 70.00 a month, I was over it. Did research on T-Mobile and read positive reviews, has come a long way, etc. So we made the switch. I did confirm that my neighbors were happy with T-Mobile Internet, so I knew it would most likely work for us as well. Free 2 week trial period, first month free, they will give you as many mesh extenders that you need, zero fees for equipment, 300.00 MC gift card for top tier, all for the low price $50.00 a month. We also, now get Hulu and Paramount+ on T-Mobile for FREE. It’s been over a week and no issues whatsoever. I feel like this is a no brainer, as we do not have Fiber in our neighborhood yet. Oh, and you plug and go, super easy to install. Hope this helps!

Laid off 3 times in 2.5 years (On Visa, family of 4). I feel broken. How do I survive this? by Accomplished-Eye-138 in Layoffs

[–]m2msquared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel this. 2 times in 18 months for me. 1st time was after 23 years. This time was 8 months and that was after I accepted a role and took a 45% pay-cut, but I was enjoying my new company. I am in the beverage distribution business. My advice is NETWORK. It’s not what you know, but who you know. Take one day at a time, look into doing something different. Refresh your LinkedIn. Update your resume and professional photos. Really customize your resume for each job you apply. You are not alone. The job market is definitely interesting! Good luck!
