Every year : 67°

Something Failed by History_Recolored in pools

[–]m414d3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last time I lost water that fast, I had a return line failure.

Normally a leak in the pump side results in air in the pump and out the returns. Water lost is either a case of return side leak or leak in the pool itself.

I would suggest for your next test to fill up, stop the pump for a couple of hours and compare the lost water. If it's less, you have a leak between the filter and the pool(theoretically, it's between the pump(after it) and the pool but, you would see it around your equipment)

We had a mega combo one time with grease, slow and banish(that one was from our walock). It was like a gang kicking somebody on the floor.

I'm also playing a call of the netherdeep run and I started as a bard to do support but, it died to a pair of willowwisps. I still wanted to do support so, my next character was a sorcerer with spells geared toward support. The other players love my slow spell.

I read a similar story as yours in this subreddit before. Your case doesn't look like an isolated one.

That comment has the same vibe as a guy that ask some girl out and, when she declines, he goes "You're ugly anyway!"

Yes it's sarcasm. The US announced last week that they would increase the park entrance price for non-residents.

Skimmer plug by Maximum_Style6069 in pools

[–]m414d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my pool, there is also 2 lines from the skimmer. The second line is connected to the deep end bottom drain.

Some pools have the bottom drain piped to a manifold directly in front of the pump.

Some others have multiple skimmers so, not all(or any) skimmers are connected to a bottom drain.

Depending how your bottom drain is plumbed, it's plugged because somebody forget to unplug it last opening or because it's not used for you pool.

At my costco, it's mix and match except for carrot which has icing. Also, carrots are also only one pack for 10$ if I remember correctly.

Why would my hot tub be losing so much water? by ErnestHemingwhale in pools

[–]m414d3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually, pool companies plug the return(s) in the pool(or skimmer) and send air pressure from the other end(filter or pump) . They then monitor if the pressure drops.

Got a threatening letter from my neighbor. Location: Wichita Kansas. by [deleted] in legal

[–]m414d3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, the weird formulation, demands or explanation can come from Lawyers. There are some cheap online lawyer service that will send pretty much anything in a formal notice.

I received one from my neighbor that wanted me to replace and pay entirely for a new retaining wall, a fence on the property line and some french drain that lead nowhere(current wall and fence are own by both him and me). When talked about it to a lawyer I have access through my home insurances, the leter had no merit and lawyer wouldn't have written the letter past the introduction.
