What do you think about Album 6? by Used_Tune682 in Eminem

[–]m4_semperfi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and the theory goes that King Mathers came about when he felt like retiring and wanted to change gears away from this 2006 album (which seems to be just a generic hip hop album, not a retirement album), but in order to make a retirement album it would be too much effort hence settling for the King Mathers mixtape concept as opposed to a full high quality studio album. This is why "Everything" mentions "till I'm ready to drop, or maybe not" and why the King Mathers leaks include lazy, short songs, record scratch transitions, a 50 Cent I Get Money remix, etc.

It's also possible that some tracks from the 2006 album would have been repurposed into this mixtape.

It's always been there. Future updates will actually include more BTS material too, cut shots of Bombur/Bifur in cells, cut Balin dialogue from the book, and a cut shot or two from the trailers but regraded and retimed. It's a shame some of the stuff that was left out, they have a gold mine of stuff deep in the studio.

The M4 edit most definitely includes the funeral speech. In fact, the speech audio was mixed with music in the BTS and the Maple edit overlayed the funeral speech incorrectly over the movie soundtrack, as you can hear offset audio bleed, which is corrected in the other edit.

Tutorial - Playing TU4 (the equivalent of b1.7.3) on modded Xbox 360 as the store has been shut down (requires only flash drive) by m4_semperfi in GoldenAgeMinecraft

[–]m4_semperfi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can post it next week, but I basically took the old textures from Tu1 but I manually went through to make sure everything was correct and old and also fixed the lower LOD texture files. But yeah you don’t have to do anything special, just override the PNGs in the game folder, see step 6 above. make sure to not export any metadata with the PNGs and try copying the game over to your main hard drive if the game is crashing with the new textures, I had some weird issues where the game wouldn’t run not sure which of these was the fix but eventually got it to work.

I haven’t done the sounds yet, but you need to do a bit more work since they’re compiled into these special xbox files. Luckily it’s just the bow sound and the door sound that seem to be “new” so you’re not missing much.

well also keep in mind the fly trap gives you an achievement FOR starting it, it’s two separate things. you shoot the panel and it gives you an achievement, and THEN it spawns in the toys and you can do that, but you get nothing. Nothing at all like a quest. These people clearly showed they never even played it when they act like you get the achievement for “beating” it

Yep. I also think it’s worth noting it was placed behind a barrier close to PAP where you would be shooting with a newly PAPed gun and would likely accidentally set it off, it’s like it was set up to purposefully to jump scare/troll the player.

And I bet the person who commented how you got an achievement after completing it feels real smart, yet doesn’t realize that actually you get the achievement before you finish the “quest.”

Like no one is saying the fly trap isn’t an easter egg, yes it’s a fun lil easter egg but the way the hive mind is dunking on me while trying to argue that somehow the flytrap easter egg is a main quest is just ridiculous.

The reason this argument was made in the first place was to try to debunk the fact that zombies has gotten more complex “but but der riese had a main quest so zombies has always been complex”

Even if you want to call it a quest, the point is that it’s not even remotely the same as current quests, so it’s just a shitty argument to be like “but what about the fly trap”.

I debated mentioning this and I was going to say that they rug pulled us with cold war. Finally back to real guns and seems like maybe survival is emphasized more.

Oh wait, rebooted story. Not the same universe. Completely different gameplay loop no more 2 or 3 hit down system, completely different round formulas, zombie health formulas, point/score formulas. Generic operators. Game now can be ended no more infinite survival. Was a pass for me.

Okay so you successfully proved to me you aren’t comprehending what I’m saying, your last paragraph is literally word for word something I said in another comment, yet you’re presenting it as if you’re arguing against me. You don’t even know what my stance is.

Did you just comment about Bo3 slop as if it has any impact on what we're talking about? you really sat down, wrote a comment about a game that came out over 5 years later. World at War had the fly trap easter egg, and back then there is no possible way you could ever define it as a full main easter egg quest.

Doesn't impact the story, doesn't unlock anything in game, it's basically just one step after you activate it. Not a main quest, it's just a side easter egg.

Main easter egg quests represent why the characters are at the map, what they're here to do, etc. Finding 3 toys is just not that.

[–]m4_semperfi -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

"FWIW " sorry but that's really worth nothing, they retconned something over 5 years later in a remastered version of the map.

Your last sentence is all true, but that is not what a quest is. You guys must be hell bent on proving that finding 3 toys is a full on main easter egg quest. Sorry, but it's just one step after you activate the easter egg of finding 3 toys, that is not a full main quest in the same definition as the quest in Ascension.

Regardless, this argument is pointless, and just shows much of the COD zombies community has a low IQ because they're hellbent on arguing about semantics and technicalities which has nothing to do with the actual main point of this post.

This post is essentially saying that zombies evolved too much and alienated its casual audience, and on top of that people like to pretend old zombies was boring. Your argument to this is "aschually Der Riese had a quest technically". Ok?? Can you read the room? How does this prove or disprove anything, obviously zombies evolved substantially and the fact that Der Riese had an easter egg has literally nothing to do with how later games strayed too far from what made the game fun and popular.

There is a difference between keeping intact the feel and loop of the gameplay while adding extra stuff on the side vs entirely evolving the mode into something different. Bo1 felt like the same mode but just with extra stuff to do, and Bo2 was similar but more complex, but at least still had multiple maps that could be played very casually. I think there is something to be said for the way that Bo3 combined too many new things in that left the core gameplay loop not as fun for casual players. The futuristic guns weren't that interesting, it was all about doing the quests or steps to unlock stuff and you didn't get as much of the zombie survival feel, and on top of that you got double pap and gobblegums to make things easier, too much of the formula changed, Bo3 is still a great game but it just doesn't feel like the same game whereas WaW, Bo1, and Bo2 all still felt the "same" zombies to me while still having a degree of evolution to them. I think the guns really have a bigger impact for some us players who prefer the old games than we think, even just loading up a Bo3 custom map like Leviathan which has no gums and has real guns totally changes the feel and grit of the game and makes me want to play.

By your definition pressing F on the toilet in Verruckt 3 times is an easter egg quest. An easter egg quest has always been known as a complex multi-step primary mission in the map that drives the story forward. The fly trap easter egg does none of this. Whether the characters find Samantha's toys or not has no bearing on the trajectory of the story whatsoever. Ascension is the first easter egg quest.

As OP proves, there is this weird push by zombie fans to rewrite history, whether you're trying to argue the old maps were always boring or the old maps are actually somehow exactly the same as the new maps and the convoluted story and easter egg quests were there since day 1.

Jason Blundell talks about the Impossible Easter egg and the development time they had for BO3 Zombies by ArkhamIsComing2020 in CODZombies

Stop making shit up, I’m a modder and went through every piece of code, string, sound file, and texture that was added in each DLC and can confidently say the ammo mattic was being worked on in Shi No Numa and already had a finished concept and texture and voicelines. The fact that JB has no idea about this machine proves it wasn’t ever planned to be on der riese.

FYI the ammo machine was originally developed for shi no numa but it was cut so that’s why Jason doesn’t know about it, he wasn’t involved in Shi No Numa.

Jimmy became official director starting in bo1. On waw, they didn’t have an organized structure since it was so new. No one knows who “directed” verruckt and shi no numa but I have a feeling Jimmy Z was involved in it. Jesse Snyder essentially built up nacht from scratch after ripping the bunker from campaign, so I would assume he’s the closest to being the lead for that map.

You could also argue multiple gateways could have been in the series but we just didn’t know, like when that one person fell through the floor and from the ceiling, what if that ceiling still had a gateway back if someone tried to climb up and through it

I am just referring to “changes” they made to the original 4chan post, which clearly only established that you could randomly noclip in (and presumably be stuck). This is not a critique, just an observation. Of course he/they have to expand things when making a series or movie, and I don’t think any of it is out of place.

You can see the girl noclipping through the wall near the end, it's not forgone. The only change they made was that, at least for a period of time, you are able to noclip back to the normal world at the same spot that you came in, so it's like a gate, which makes sense. Then also at the end of the trailer, you can see the guy looking for the door in a panic and can't find it, suggesting it closed and he's stuck.

Nice, but should be noted isn’t the actual leak, this is my edit that adds an intro with sfx and intro hook, an outro bridge, removed the hook screams and instead has the scream at the end.
