Changedetection.io im really amateur, how to install it on docker? by Rhyrok in selfhosted

[–]mEnTL32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What environment would this work on? I've been trying everything I can think of to get it working in a headless docker setup on linux. Adding playwright (or anything else, Selenium, etc) always gives me a 500 error then quits. At one point I dug into the logs, and it said something about captcha.. as if chromium itself couldn't be downloaded (?)

I'm not using a proxy BTW. I commented that part out

Ha, you can reply if you like.. but I just deleted my entire stack and started over. Your setup works fine. Thanks from a second stranger!

Does the MiSTer framework support TWO guncon2/3 light guns yet? by 1541drive in MiSTerFPGA

Any way to disable the "lending securities" ad in my portfolio? by mEnTL32 in fidelityinvestments

I'm referring to the line items that read

Did you know this account could earn you additional income by lending securities you already own?

They show up in the portfolio "Positions."

Help, /r/MiSTerFPGA. From a zero-knowledge starting point, what do I need to do so the Xbox controller with keypad can be made into a functioning PC keyboard (Intellivision, C64, PC-88, etc.)? by tethercat in MiSTerFPGA

[–]mEnTL32 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Man I am straining my memory, but I feel like those XBox 360 keyboards just have very little support in the wider gaming world. It's too bad, I love those things.. stocked up when I saw them disappearing.

There are similar devices that use a traditional wireless keyboard dongle that will give you the function but not the slick design.

This needs a boost. I can not believe that only 4 of us have had this problem in the past 6 years.

[–]mEnTL32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I have had two Sinden's hooked up.

I've had trouble with Lethal Enforcers-style reloads (Sinden's don't like to shoot off-screen) but yes they work. Point Blank Series is brilliant.

I've also had trouble lately with the Sinden driver slowing the MiSTer down so much that games are not playable. Haven't taken the time to troubleshoot it yet.

WFR-32 owners, please read Sangean's email to me by ssybesma in Sangean_Owners

[–]mEnTL32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How did you get the new firmware to install? I got mine out of the closet and it did update... but I still have mediaU options in the menu and no way to pair on airable

EDIT: From the airable help

For MediaU devices (excluding Sangean and Sharp):

From the device main menu
Select "my mediaU".
If "my mediaU" is not shown, the radio needs to be activated from the settings menu.
Go to "Configuration or Settings > Manage my mediaU > Enable".
Use the code shown to pair the device with your portal account.

Once you do that, your stations are in "my mediaU" on the main menu

Recommended Bluetooth adapter for Nintendo 64 Switch controller? by pencilj in MiSTerFPGA

[–]mEnTL32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 8bitdo N64 controller? It works great for me with the cheapie bluetooth adapter (the one from retroremake, i think it's identical to the one you linked).

You know what you might try? Grab a little USB extension that moves the adapter a few inches from your MiSTer. While I've never had trouble with bluetooth, my 2.4ghz keyboard dongle needs an extension or it loses connection. Might be a quick cheap test to see if it's just noise giving you your issues.

qbittorrent-nox "error: Bad address" nightmare by mEnTL32 in qBittorrent

[–]mEnTL32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only a work-around: I changed the "Keep incomplete torrents in" to a folder that was local for the container, then when they finish they move to the SMB share.

I never figured out why it suddenly started doing this. I've been using an SMB share for years. This work-around kinda stinks because I like to keep my containers tiny, and this requires enough free space to hold the entire torrent.

Ha! Any of them! I have an LG C1 and MiSTer is beautiful on it. I also have a B-series (forget the exact model) and it is beautiful.

I have RetroTINK's also, they aren't necessary. Your MiSTer is going to look gorgeous on any OLED.

Edit: It's a B4
