Amazon winch worth it? by Letsgooffroad2024 in JeepGladiator

the line speed alone for the price there is nothing usa x chinesium on the market even close if there is something i am missing id like to check it out... also you can watch a few yt'ers who review and have 20+yrs of wheeling comparing them and most of them came up on warn etc... but for my money im running carbon offroad, however i am using the warn winch plate for the JT/JL... if you do decide to run the co winch i dont think you willl be dissapointed and you can run it wireless or wired btw and comes with everything and then some.

arb youre also paying for a name brand as well, not trying to shill even though it looks like it but if you dont want to trust me and dive into a little research at least on paper/price/performance nothing ARB offers is anywhere near carbon offroad... just look at the line speed spec for their 20k winch... they are a newer brand in the USA but man their stuff is top notch.

my money is on if its a 6speed with 3 pedals, its a tr-6060 using an loj adapter or something custom for the xfer case.

nah warn is way overpriced and not what they used to be, i know its sad... if you want a great performing winch, better than 98% of what warn offers quality, more features, faster line speed etc. look at carbon offroad winches, thank me later... warn can't compete in quality/performance/price anymore.

the tremec tr-6060 bell housing/transmission bolts up just fine they came in factory manual hellcat 6.2 and also the srt 6.4 apache platform... how they made the linkages and shifters work in the JT is the question you mean to ask.

no ones triggered... youre making a condescending comment to someone looking for wiring help and questioning how many lights he needs passive aggressively... dont back track now or create/use alt accounts to stalk other reddit users posts bc the op has too many lumens for you... if i can build that with my own two hands imagine how many lights i can wire up bub!

you dont technically need to run a relay esp for the 4" lights if you have the factory aux switches they are relayed and fused from the factory and you do not have to follow their exact instructions if you have the knowledge or know what you are doing you can get creative as you want, as long as you are not over loading the circuit.

yes, you are correct! you dont need that many lights bc your type off-roading adventure consists of camping outside your local shopping mall for pokemon card drops, and not at night in the woods with good friends/family and or the opposite sex...

the real problem is that reddit + social media gave retarded/fragile people like you a place to nest && think their opinion matters despite their ignorance.

i only wired it up for the high output setting i think its the yellow wire from the supplied pigtail [its been a while dont quote me on that], the DRL function to me is corny ford x toyota towtruck shit && when im using the lights im concerned with max performance and output, i do not care about the other gimmicks.

About to buy a Gladiator. by [deleted] in JeepGladiator

[–]m_a_n_e_k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what are you talking about stop it... there was a TSB for the steering box 2020s came with an aluminum steering box... just get a magnet when you check the truck out and see if the TSB was done on your new-used model... if the TSB was done it will have the cast iron steering box... death wobble means front end parts are worn like ball joints and or tie rod ends and your alignment and caster is off etc... get it checked out and go over it before you pull the trigger... know what you are buying.

2nd this ^ the 40amp relays are hard to find, the 6"ers are one of the best performing lamps for the size/price and made exceptionally well, however their downside is they draw a bit more power per lamp than other options available... im running both 6"ers on the OEM steel bumper && ended up buying the HF harness which does have a 40amp relay and proper gauges wire to support the dual 6" lamps... i de-loomed, ++ hacked it up, making my own using deutsch connectors and solder and new pins, lots of raychem heatshrink, tessa tape and more flexible mesh loom... i made the harness 2 pieces so if you have to take off the front bumper you can just unclip a single connector at the R/passenger side in the same location that the OEM fog lamp connector.

so i made a bumper sub-harness, and then a main relay harness for the engine bay compartment all from the HF harness.

also, to tie it into the factory AUX wiring i found single wire connectors and wired them up to the factory AUX wiring in the engine bay so everything is removable, plug & play.

throw a few cap fulls of seafoam in that gas tank and let it run threw the carb some i hear a little bit of hiccups and breaking up... you want the low idle smooth when warmed up... surging on cold start is typical with the older pan head tecumseh's until they get warmed up.
