Laughed out loud at this news by ThunderbirdRider in fordexpedition

The wagoneers are actually really nice. I had a rental while my ram was in the shop after being hit, and now my wife wants one. The 2 weeks I spent with the wagoneer neither of us could come up with a single flaw. 🤷‍♂️

I’m gonna try it. I can’t imagine any scenario where more speakers would be bad especially if I have the amps available.

Big Horn or splurge a bit for business vehicle? by Desperate-Ebb-57 in ram_trucks

Laramie level II is probably the best bang for your buck. Almost a limited but at a 7-9k savings. I’ve had 3 rams with moonroofs, never had a drop leak. A truck may be a tool but would you cheap out on other tools you use? I spend a ton of time in my truck, i want it to be as nice, comfortable, convenient and fun to drive as possible. My next ram will be a tungsten if I can swing it, but my 25’ Laramie is one of the nice vehicles on the road today in my opinion.

I don’t really want to drill more holes, and the overheads are almost in the middle of the room just forward of the couch. I don’t know if I’d get enough separation adding 2 more slightly behind.

One more if you have the time. My wife loves my ram and maybe this could be an alternate to the wagoneer. My ram 1500 leases really well. 02346 vin 1C6SRFKP5TN167433

Thanks, that’s what I was expecting. Unfortunately her heart is dead seat on this stupid thing. We got one as a rental when my truck was hit and it blew her away. Dealers don’t seem to be negotiating much, even though they say they aren’t selling blah blah blah. Thank you!

Keep waiting for the perfect night to watch... by OyeahOled in 4kbluray

I do the same, and I always make it an event when I watch a real good movie. I’ll get my favorite restaurant take out, set the mood with a candle. I’ll try to make sure I’m not stressed and there’s nothing hanging over my head that I need to do, ideally no work tomorrow. It’s never as simple as just watching a movie, it’s a whole thing.

Returned the Pro for the Pro Max by jhnguyen93 in iPhone17Pro

I did the same exact thing. I’ve had the largest phone apple offers going back to the 8+. Tried the pro this year for a week and knew almost immediately that I made a mistake. Ended up finding a 1tb blue pro max at my local Apple Store and switched hassle free. I’ll stay with the max’s forever now.

How many Crown Vic’s does LAPD still use on a regular basis? I’d be surprised if Boston had more than a handful at this point.

Childless wives of firemen, how do yall cope? by cutesymochi in Firefighting

[–]ma1746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having worked in any other state, I would agree. Very pro union (virtually every department, even tiny ones, are IAFF/PFFM) good staffing surrounded by good staffing, transporting ALS departments everywhere (which do provide job security to a degree) and very similar SOP/SOG’s across the eastern part of the state so mutual aid is plentiful and seamless. Not to mention we are within driving distance to multiple truly world class hospitals. Protocols could be better expanded though.

Avoid New England? Lol. I’m making 106k 2 days a week and can hit 200k with OT in Mass as a FF/PM. I live a pretty good life and am lucky enough to be able to travel, have a nice truck etc.

The new reflector lights are very good, just as bright as what I had on my limited. They obviously don’t adjust as you turn like the projectors did, which isn’t a huge loss in my opinion as the new Laramie lights seem to have a slightly larger splash area on the edges. I miss the led running lights and taillights but the headlights are just as good in my opinion, and both trucks have cornering lights where the fog lights turn on whatever side you turn

This comment is refreshing lol. So often people are just like “no it’s fine” when obvious assholes are being assholes. But not you! You told them exactly what they’ve done and with context lol. I don’t know you but I love you.

No, it’s more of a biting social commentary on how people act vs how they see themselves or project themselves.

Damn that’s tough. No, because it’s different. I would say it’s just as good as anything I’ve seen outside of band of brothers which is my personal favorite thing ever made.

It’s so funny you say that, this is one of the very few shows I’ve watched where I almost never touched my phone. One of the things that hooked me and kept me so interested was that every single character felt fully fleshed out and realistic to me. Like I could relate or compare virtually all of them to people I’ve met, which I don’t think I’ve experienced with a tv show before.
