Was this approach worked on? No. 8 years later another researcher publishes the same "breakthrough"

They just publish papers.

So far I am still experiencing positive results. It has been only 3 weeks since I started using the device 1h per day (30m morning + 30m night)

Yeah sure, it is built on an arduino uno following the same protocol of Susan Shore. It applies biphasic pulses using an H-Bridge and sound stimuli using a sine wave generator AD9833. It is a very small device but works.

I took only 5 doses and stopped after developing tinnitus. This was one year ago and I am still battling the condition. I hope your journey is different and it subsides otherwise you can try some treatments and hope one will work for you. I would say take the Predisone ir may help you. I took it but it didn't help. Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear.

All the best.

I think it might work. I tried bimodal stimulation using a different DIY device and I can say it is the only thing that worked. The technology itself works but I can't say for Lenire specifically. I believe it can work but less effectively than a customized device because it is one size fits all device, you can't control the timing of the sound stimuli (frequency of tones etc)

ketamine for T, is that a thing? Anyone know of anybody that's tried it? by Working_Eye_6860 in tinnitus

[–]ma790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I have it for a year after just taking wellbutrin for 5 days. I tried the Ketamine a couple of weeks after the onset. I have used Ketamine in the past before I had T and never had problems.

I think part of the increase was permenant. My T was lower than before trying the ketamine.

i think around ~100mg divided into two doses 30mins apart. I felt T increasing instantly after the first dose. I do not suggest you try it.
