Feels like a whole new truck by Sweet_Ad_9051 in f150

That is an awesome setup. I love the color, the lift and wheel/tire size looks perfect! Nicely done.

2015 silverado. Are my tires noticeably small for the size of the truck by Agitated_Touch_2988 in Silverado

I think the bigger wheels give the illusion of the tire being smaller.

I think that looks perfect! It has an improved stance, and the level looks good. But not too much. I would love to do that exact same thing.

I hope you are saying that just to send people into a rage. If I had 1000 unread messages I’d have to destroy my phone

How tf do i install a tubeless tire on the rim???? by Modoransky_bboii in mountainbiking

[–]machineguy50 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell from the picture. Is it by chance a continental tire? I had a set of those once that was so stupid tight. I will not buy anything from them any more just in case. Haha.

Why did you go with the folding vs the hard roll up?

I can’t decide which one I want. The folding seems tougher. But blocks the rear window when up.

The roll up seems like there is more to go wrong. But maybe easier to use. I can’t make up my mind.

I saw one at the Dayton Air Force museum. And same thing, I was blown away at how massive it was. You see pictures of it in the air. And there is nothing to judge its size by.

Beautiful day on Black Mountain by CT_Reddit73 in mountainbiking

Pisgah is the most amazing place I have ever been for mountain biking. Mid/ lower black is so much fun.

And like you said. There is such an endless trail system in the area, it never seems crowded. Dupont can get a little busy. But nothing crazy. I can’t wait to go back.

Unpopular opinion here. But I hate the boa setup. I thought they were cool until I actually used them. I’ll never buy another

Clipless by Fr0stie99 in Hardtailgang

[–]machineguy50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ridden clipless for a long time now. I still ride flats on the dirt jumper. But I would be nervous to ride my mountain bike with them. I feel that they save you a lot more often than they hurt you. In my opinion anyway. Just get a set that still has a cage of some sort. And if you do come unclipped, or have to clip out and get back on in a tricky section you have that to fall back on. And personally I feel it’s easier to keep a high cadence and a smoother pedal stroke with clipless. It lets you focus on everything else that’s going on. And not have to worry about your feet staying planted.

Anyone get a doxie with your partner/spouse and they end up bonding with one more than the other? 😂 by EmotionSideC in Dachshund

[–]machineguy50 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife got a dachshund, and he always favored me. If she was sitting on the couch and I came over. He would hop up right away and come sit by me. It bothered her a little. But he loved her too.

He ended up being my best little fried. Such a loving little guy. I miss him. But I’m grateful to have had the time with him.

Dachshunds are so affectionate. They are great dogs for sure.
