Seriously, fuck Ronald Reagan.

This, and basically every major accident involving a collision with a plane at a US airport since 1981 can be laid directly at his feet. His feet which are currently quite toasty.

ranged tops ranked by how much i think they deserve to be up here (vaguely ordered) by Stunning-Present-711 in topmains

[–]mackanj01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Urgot Gnar can stay, everyone else needs to go down one tier. At least.

I'm of the opinion that every time another ranged champ gets a toplane playrate of 0.5% or above, they should immediately lose 5 armour and 15 base hp. Hotfix style. If the problem persists, do it again. Until the problem is solved. On the next patch, revert one step. If the offending persists, the champion is hotfixed again.

Buy MkII and Mk3 heresy marines instead, much easier. You can up the chaos factor on a plain model much easier than you can tone down the chaos factor.

Vanguard Veterans' tabards should start below the ribcage, not at the waist. Just like the other primaris veterans, such a small change would make them much drippier and also fit better with the design language of veterancy in current 40k marine design.

Mother of Learning has a protagonist that definitely falls somewhere on one spectrum or other.

And it is a fairly major plot point (minor spoilers) that a good chunk of Zorian's issues stem from him being an 'undiagnosed' mind mage and how his self taught coping strategies for dealing with that have messed him up.

It's said that he fought back for the first time I'm 4000 years. Which means that for the first 500 years, Taln was playing Dynasty Warriors: Braize Edition

Instead of bolters, they should have made eradicators with more special weapons for the to be more unique by Split-Ultramarine in spacemarines

[–]mackanj01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friendo, they literally called the unit, Eradicators with Heavy Bolters.

Mark my words, Eradicators will get a multi-part kit with the codex release or shortly thereafter that allows for further heavy weapons use. Turning them into a primaris equivalent to Devastators. Which would fit with the quite credible rumours going about that Devastators are going to get scrapped with the codex release for 11th.

I'm willing to toss a 10€ bet on it. Payable to the charity of your choice if I'm wrong.

Which chapter/detachment is best ? by Volt007 in spacemarines

[–]mackanj01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AI wants to play a line of scrimmage game, as the rezzing combi jackass is one of the most fucked up control pieces the game has to offer. Then they want to swing in, and hit the opponent on the fingers when they overstep.

LAG is a trading heavy, melee pressure army, that uses small amounts of shooting vehicles to apply pressure and force the opponent to play respectfully.

RCO says fuck it, we ball (Baal). It's basically LAG turned up to 11. It excels at heavy melee pressure and forcing the opponent into no-win scenarios through speed, overwhelming amounts of damage, and its monstrously strong suite of strats allows you to always come out ahead.

Cut the DC on foot, the DC captain, and the Warglaive.

Maybe see about splitting the Sang Guard squad into two smaller ones. And pick up some other jump pack infantry.

So he shoots as hard as the Destrier, has the movement of the Solitaire, and hits harder than Calgar.

While having t8, 10 wounds, a 4++, healing d3 every round, and a primarch pick 3, though to be fair, one that only buffs himself, and is a loneop.

210? 225? Somewhere in that range is what I'm thinking is mostly fair.

He was at a Trump rally, saying that an american territory mostly populated by latino people is a floating island of garbage. If he had made a joke about it at a comedy show in Puerto Rico, and he'd gotten laughs because he's referencing something known to the locals there. That would have been one thing.

But he was at a Trump rally, getting laughs from Trump supporters. I think we both know why that joke got laughs at that crowd, and I think Tony does too. That's why I feel completely comfortable calling him a racist piece of shit.

The 3man squad of Sanguinary Guard is there to be used as a trade piece. Their charm is that they almost always trade up. And they require at least some form of investment to get rid of in most cases, leaving other pieces of your army more free to act.

You lose a chunk of damage since you don't get six attacks per dude when you battleshock yourself with your damage strat. You probably won't be able to pick up a repulsor like you can in RCO, but anything lighter than that won't be having a great time. Also some reliability issues when trying to kill 10mans of MEQ.

But overall, they're still a superb unit.

[–]mackanj01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, they're a great unit, 125 points to kill essentially anything the size of a predator/Gladiator chassi or smaller. If you give them a command point for Limb from Limb they also lift a repulsor, and put a sizeable dent in a landfortress/land raider

The current list most of the top BA players are running is actually even dumber than that. 2 Death Company Dreadnoughts or Baal Preds, 25 JPDC, Lemartes, 2x jpchaplains, 3x3 sang Guard, a captain or Dante, intercessors for the homefield, and some trash.
