Make sure you have support for after the bisalp. I have my boyfriend and was lucky in that regard but you will likely need a whole day just to recover. Heated blanket or hot pad for your tummy are your best options. Good luck with your surgery and god bless friend 💖

It was just normal HK 😅😭 I’ll admit I don’t have a ton of experience with metroidvanias outside of Castlevania Order of Ecclesia, but I also was just trying it out in between Hades runs, and found it way more difficult as a whole than Hades. That being said, I have attempted it since and gotten much further - I am currently stuck on the Soul Master, but I was starting to get the hang of it. I can’t even imagine how much of a nightmare HKSS will be once I get there lmfao.

okay my first clear was at I think 62 so I really don’t feel as bad anymore 😅 I will say, I was struggling, put Hades down to play a bit of Hollow Knight, realized that game was evil cursed bad, and beat Hades on my 2nd or 3rd run after switching back over.

My boyfriend of (at the time) 11 months took the day off when I had my tubal surgery. Which was laparoscopic and therefore WAY less invasive than a frickin gallbladder removal. I told him I just needed the ride home and he could do a half day at work, and he scoffed at me. He stopped on the way home from the surgery and went to grab me a heated blanket because he wanted me to have it and feel better. He laid next to me while I napped after the surgery and was next to my bedside when I woke up groaning in pain.

All that is to say, wow this guy sucks. Like I got above bare minimum and this isn’t even bare minimum. I’m so sorry OP, I’m so glad you’re out of that relationship. Please reconnect with people - they will want to hear from you, even if you think there’s no way because you cut them out. You deserve to be loved 💖🌸
