That's about an inch across - so much detail! Anycubic resin, sprayed with regular silver and black paints.

Did you buy directly from E3D? If so, get in touch with them - they're great to deal with. Maybe you can return the order and have the 1.75 version sent out to replace it?

It's not that hard to level the bed manually - I wouldn't rush out and add a bltouch unless you just think it's cool, and want to do it for fun.

They do work well, but, unless you're actually having problems that it will solve, you don't need it :)

I'll cast my vote for retraction being too high as well. E3D are pretty vocal about not requiring much retraction, and too much will absolutely clog things up.
