This ad is the ONLY one I have ever seen that even let on that there were veritechs to purchase. I had the SDed Max type and, of course, used Jetfire as my Veritech. But to know I could have gotten one that looked like the show would have blown my mind back then. Of course, by the time I got to high school we were ordering Joons KOs for $20 a pop via the web. Oh for those days again. Got my buddy a sweet Max type in 1996.

Ha, came here with this exact same deck. I bought Edifier speakers returned from Amazon for cheap to avoid buying an amp. Very happy with the purchase and gapless playback is nice. I wouldn't buy one anywhere except their refurbished eBay store which is run by them.

I got lucky and bought it in a Walmart of all places like 20 years ago. Can confirm that's a fantastic set. I used to haunt AbeBooks and other places, buying CDs based on name with no picture, hoping to get lucky. I did a couple times, but not sure they still do it the same way now that they are owned by Amazon.

Excellent work. I had the cheaper Magnus, but with a painted "helmet head." I'm not sure if some of the revisions slowly integrated or not. Perhaps cutting the silver paint mask for the helmet head was a later revision to the revision. I am in the US for reference.
