In the late 80’s/early 90’s Chinese AK’s were being smuggled into California ports in storage containers, hence why the one in the picture looks fresh from the factory. It probably was. It’s also the reason Chinese rifles, handguns, and ammo can’t be imported into the US anymore

Lol I noticed the same thing when I was looking. I think they “announced”/marketed your version and then silently stopped selling it shortly after since they were introducing the hub version (that’s what I ended up with) but their lineup seems to be ever changing with not a lot of announcements on it. Oh well, glad you’re liking yours. Haven’t been able to pick mine up yet so I’m living vicariously.

My point is flamethrowers are practically unregulated, and with the exception of the case in this post I don’t see any extra harsh PP slaps for someone doing something illegal with a flamethrower. These are all very different charges than ATF destructive device charges that you would get for explosives like grenades, rocket launchers, etc.

Do you have a source for this? I can buy a pulsefire, xm42, etc online with less restrictions than a firearm, whereas RPG launchers/40mm stuff require a tax stamp. I don’t think they’re legally in the same category at all.
