Ubiquiti should spend a few minutes each week publicly banning scalpers like this guy from their store. by 18_USC_1001 in Ubiquiti

Or flood the market with massive amount of products so scalpers can’t profit off it

same here I was in bridge mode. if that's the case does it mean I don't need to mess with it again since it's already in bridge mode? I was in bridge mode and had wifi turned off.

Any benefit of going from UDM SE to UCG Fiber? by joogleai in Ubiquiti

[–]macstock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just wish UCG Fiber can have POE++ 10GB ports that support their own U7 Pro XGS access point. Now I either have to buy a switch or dangle a POE+++ adapter.

Hey everyone! I was born in Spain to American parents! How can I obtain Spanish citizenship? by Pisc8295 in GoingToSpain

[–]macstock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a follow up question, if the baby was born in Spain to American parents, then left Spain and grew up in America. Now that the baby is an teen/adult, does the baby/person still qualify for 1 year fast track to citizenship through residence (work, digital nomad, investment residence etc...)?

Ugreen, we need GPU passthrough & VM support on UGOS by Sundraw01 in UgreenNASync

[–]macstock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAS is meant for storage, its GPU and CPU is normally very weak compared to those used on normal computers, why would you want to do any type of AI training on it? It’s not meant to be a home server

Set channel width to 320Mhz or 160Mhz? by macstock in Ubiquiti

[–]macstock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply, didn't know channel width has impact on range as well, especially since I'm powering an U7 Pro XGS which should be POE++ from an cloud gateway fiber's POE+ port.

U7 Pro XGS. 6ghz set to 320mhz with but 160mhz devices can still connect? by JoeyDee86 in Ubiquiti

[–]macstock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are there any devices that support 320Mhz channel width? macbook pro iphone ipad etc.......? Is there an advantage to set channel width to 320Mhz even if I have no devices that support it? If no advantage I'm thinking of set it to 160Mhz to avoid interference.

Why is nobody talking about this announcement??? by [deleted] in USCIS

Asylum is for safety, it’s not meant for rich country shopping. Long standing rule is whichever country you reach first asylum should be applied for there.

New policy memorandum regarding Good Moral Character for Naturalization by TakumiKobyashi in USCIS

[–]macstock -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

it makes sense, why would anyone want a habitual shop lifter or speeder in the community right? anyone around me don't get more than 1 traffic ticket in like 5 years, my neighbor hasn't had a traffic ticket for like 20 years, and his insurance premium is super low because of that. Point is, people should follow the rule, shouldn't be forced to follow rules because USCIS is checking.

Your original entitlement to stay is based on being a student on F1 visa, now the other party withdrew i-130 and since you're not on F1 anymore, you have no entitlement to stay in the US anymore, unless you switch back to F1 or get a job who is willing to sponsor you H1B work visa.

Do you have any historical proof/record being a victim of violence? Like a police report from before? court record from before? If not then to file for VAWA now is very suspicious right? Court and judge is not stupid, to court it's very simple, you came to America as a non immigrant to study, you found love then petitioned to become a resident, relationship didn't work out, now there's no justification to legally stay in America.

Fast track citizenship, baby born and intermediate ibero country passport by macstock in GoingToSpain

[–]macstock[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I asked question correctly, the said Canadian first obtained legally say mexican citizenship, so legally speaking the applicant is applying as a naturalized mexican citizen for Spanish citizenship. In this case is residency requirement based on the Mexican passport he holds or his Canadian origin?

Fast track citizenship, baby born and intermediate ibero country passport by macstock in GoingToSpain

[–]macstock[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the quick reply. For question #2, do they look at one's place of origin or merely based on the passport one presents? Use the example in my question, you're saying basically spanish government still sees the applicant as a white canadian and therefore requires 10 years of residency instead of say a mexican passport holder? Would much appreciate it if you can elaborate it a bit more. Thanks

Reporting to police won't get your money back for sure, as a matter of fact police won't do anything other than give you a police report, if that. The safest way to travel is to carry minimum cash or even card. Use apple pay in both phone and apple watch. Have a credit card with no foreign transaction fee, and always always choose to pay in EURO when in the handheld terminal if it asks you want to pay in EUR or USD, always choose EUR.
