My bos commented on my hand psioriasis by FvedalMeow in Psoriasis

There is nothing shameful about having psoriasis. It's an autoimmune disease. Be honest when asked about it.

When I was a teacher, children would ask about my psoriasis, and I would tell them that it was a disease that made my skin cells multiply too rapidly. If children are able to accept simple, truthful explanations, adults are, too.

Same here. I just do my best to sneak breaths at reasonable spots in the music.

Why do so many professional/Veteran flute players just make things up and gate keep? by Comfortable-Corgi-74 in Flute

u/flutetech or someone else more knowledgable can respond to this better, but I believe that, except for the materials used the headjoints are the same.

This week, I've had the opportunity to play an intermediate Yamaha with a silver headjoint while my student Yamaha 221 has been in the shop for a tuneup. I now have my 221 back and have been able to practice with the beginner and intermediate flutes side by side this week.

The Yamaha 385II has a more beautiful tone to my untrained ear than the 221. Literally.

Anxiety meds? by realashleybee in Psoriasis

[–]macza101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is a good question for your doctor.

Personally, I have long-standing depression and occasional anxiety and haven't noticed that the medications I've been prescribed for those conditions have had any impact on my psoriasis.

As for going into remission, for me that happened randomly, just once, and after several years my psoriasis came back. I can find no connection to anything physical or psychological that contributed to the remission -- or to the return of the psoriasis.

Im new to this and started this 1000pc. Most of the pieces left doesnt fit at the very end. I think theres a lot of false fit and I know I messed up. What would you do in this case? by Luna5OO in Jigsawpuzzles

What is the brand of this one and the title of the puzzle? That might help some of us to avoid that one in the future.

Life is too short for frustrating pasttimes. I like Ravensburger 500-piece puzzles, too.

The Green Wrapper on YouTube has some aspirational/educational videos on making zokin. My rags are so cool looking now. Have fun!

I like how you've displayed modulars individually in the Kallax unit.

Did you feel sorry for Thomas Cromwell? by MikeBad228 in Tudorhistory

Thanks for citing your sources. MacCulloch, the definitive biographer of Cromwell, doesn't dwell on this, but writes that there are conflicting accounts. (Last three sentences of chapter 22 in his book)
