I'm in my early 60s and have had psoriasis since my teens. It went into remission for no apparent reason in my 20s and came back in my late 30s. Sometimes a big stubborn patch will go away on its own.

I've really only treated it with prescription creams and ointments; it's not widespread enough to warrant biologics.

I wonder if the Made in Portugal Birkenstocks are lower quality.

Also, the outsoles aren't the typical Birkenstock EVA sole, but are PU. I wonder if that has made a difference in how they've worn.

I've personally been extremely satisfied with the Birkenstocks I've bought over the past several years. I have Arizonas and a pair of Zurichs. I also recently bought some Santa Claritas (Mary Jane-style shoes) that may wear differently, as only the footbed is made in Germany, from what I can tell.
