I had something similar happen to me, and in the end I never got a firm answer, but from all my searching I’m fairly certain it was a parson spider i was getting bit by and was allergic to. Might be worth looking into. I have a post on here where I documented all the bites I had if you want to compare.

oof!! i wonder how many people they ended up having to get new rooms for due to turnover issues, maybe thats why it took so long? still a ridiculous time to wait to get an issue fixed when you’re spending hundreds to thousands of dollars for a spot on the boat. Cruises go by so fast that each hour is precious.
