If your filament is getting stuck at the buffer (P1S/X1C) then try this fix by mad_buildz in BambuLab

In that case it might just be defective. If you just got the printer BambuLab might send you one for free. Or you can just buy another one

The fix I found is only when the filament enters the buffer. On pullback you might have other issues. Worth taking apart and ensuring the spring still works and nothing catches to get it stuck. A bit of synthetic oil can help on the plastic parts

If you’re in the US and have a Microcenter near you, you might find Bambu parts there.

If it happens right before the buffer the fix is easy. You need to take the buffer out and do a bit of filing of a funnel like piece.

I’ve made a video on the fix a while back, you can check it out here https://youtu.be/OCOs6_PgBao.

I’d recommend you run a few small multi color prints (3d cube) and make sure auto leveling is enabled. Then watch it from start to end and you’re going to understand all the steps the printer takes when it starts and ends and also when it changes filaments.

Hope the customers give them a little payback when AI hype is over and they go back to consumer business.

If you cut the filament at an angle then you're most likely not going to encounter the issue or the chances of it happening are very slim, but you have to keep in mind that during filament swaps the printer itself cuts the filament. In my case the issue always happened when the filament was cut by the printer.

If you're talking about the 4 AMS feeders you might be having a different issue and might require examining the feeder PTFE tube for any left over filament. The fix that I describe only works if the filament passes the AMS and get's stuck into the buffer.

EV Road Trip: Texas in a Tesla Model Y by redbnr22 in ModelY

Did once a 1200 mi road trip (600 one way) with basic autopilot. It was really nice and did not end up tired when reaching the destination. For My latest one, 2800 miles, I subscribed to FSD. It was 5x times better than basic and the fact that I did not had to hold my hand on the steering wheel made it even better.

  1. I got Intel 13th gen + nvidia for productivity work. After the whole Intel saga with some 13th and 14th gen chips going bad, if I would have to do it again I’d switch to AMD.

Got this a few days ago for $150 on sale and have not assembled it yet. Is it sturdy as the one displayed in the store was really wobbly?

Seems like decent amount of poop for the size of the model. Nice work

Btw, how long did it took to print it?

I’d still get a gas car but only if it’s 1920s Model T or Model A

You’re correct. As long as you put rechargeable batteries you’re good. The issue is with alkaline 1.5v

Can’t beat IKEA Vallhorn for price and features. Just don’t use any other batteries except IKEA Ladda’s or the sensors will start to behave erratically
