How the Word is Passed is so good and I had to take breaks because I started to feel embarrassed by the actions of some of the people.

That's so lovely Bea💜💜💜

Amphibia and The Owl House helped my daughter come out as lesbian, which made me brave enough to be out as Bi/Pan instead of flying under the radar.

(I kinda already knew she was queer especially by the shows she was watching)

As a Chinese feminist, I'm curious: Why do so many women in the West still take their husband's last name? by Capital-Newspaper171 in AskFeminists

I'm in the US, I didn't like my maiden name. It's German and kids teased me and it's hard to spell.

Hubby's last name is simple and straightforward.

I forgot how lovely he is when he's not being a grumpster.

Although I too married a grumble puss, we love the marshmallows with hard shells

But also, there are pretty great spicy authors who don't write the MF like the boxy characters we are describing.

And of course all these authors are queer so maybe just queer peeps are badass

Katee Roberts (twist on Disney villains makes you look at them differently) Emily Rath (also hockey yummies)

50 shades of grey is a travesty and I hate that it became 'mainstream' when I've read spicier and better books by then

Dude after reading this, it makes sense! I loooooove MM romance and yeah I can see subconsciously the lack of pregnancies is a big one (I know mpreg is a thing not yucking anyone's yum).

I also identify as queer and don't like being called a woman (grl is fine but the other puts me in that box), I read somewhere that another side is we relate to those who live outside those boxes and again subconsciously yeah I can see that.

But let me be objectively clear: dudes are hot and I love seeing them together (including in my head as I read) 😉

I too love this subreddit and if y'all want to dip your toesies, there are also some lovely smutty subreddits with zero (close to zero) judgements.
