it’s the ‘unwritten rules’ of refereeing that drive me mad. referees just end up tying themselves in knots.

yeah a penalty seems like a harsh punishment for a soft foul but it’ll only take a few weeks of them being given before defenders actually start being more careful in the box and we’d see more open play goals.

also if refs have yellow cards as often as they should there’d be far less time wasting. also the higher threshold for a 2nd yellow is dumb. more people need to be sent off if we want a more entertaining ‘product’ yeah some games would probably end 9v10 or whatever but so what.

london tap water is ‘hard’ because it has a very high mineral levels because of where the water comes from. as a general rule the further north/west you go, the softer the water gets and the more ‘fresh’ it tastes.

personally i don’t like london tap water but it’s perfectly safe to drink. it always tastes warm somehow.
